New: 1 Star card + 400 credits

Sorry CD but that is just embarrassing. Just to show that all they care about is $$$. Sorry GameDad but that and the refusal to lower the 30% tax just screams $$$. Now I'm not asking CD to give out 2000 credits but I guess 2 Star cards + 800 credits for the winner sounds unreasonable.

Lmao so what will runner up and 3rd/4th get 1 star card and less credits?

All the money I dropped on this game, if this is the route they're taking I'm done. I'll just stick to the console version for my enjoyment.

I like that enhancements can be used to train now. I have so much freakin' rebound, playmaking, and agility rare enhancements that I didn't know what to do with them. Unfortunately, the news about the rewards being reduced upsets me. Instead of introducing a new tier, this is their way of making people who are ready to part from the game stay even longer. A mere 400 credits is not much to dabble in trying to get better players or a second to make a pro in the auction house. Heck, you can't even buy from a pack considering their prices. You'd have to place in the finals multiple times, which would take almost two months or more, before you're even able to buy a single one. I dropped $40 last year on 2K14 and had terrible luck with my packs; I won't repeat the same mistake again of spending money on chance when I could use that money for gas or lunch for the week.

Wait Star winner will only get 1 star card + coin? Or will it be 2 star cards + coins?

Either way sucks. It should be at least 2 Star and the minimum bid price for Star in terms of coin.

This sucks...... Currently in a season right now and I was looking forward to receiving 2-3 star cards and now am getting 1 star and 400 coins smh

I've spent well over $300 total on this game trying to improve my cards, even willing to take chances on duping All Star cards, but this is just too much. How greedy can they be? they're already fleecing us hand over fist.

If winning star seasons will only give 1 star card and 400 credits I'm seriously gonna consider quitting the game. Like seriously remove potential 3500-7000 credits from the two extra star cards you get for winning and that is if you sell those two cards for minimum and replace it with 400 credits? Thats just robbery and plain terrible.

Wow. Really glad my Season ended before the Rewards change. Pippen is a dupe and LeBron is LeBron. New rewards really suck but I guess it drives more people to the AH to get what they want.

If it's true you only get 1 star and fu**in 400 credits then I might be done with this game. Wtf were they thinking. Taking two stars away is like taking a minimum of 7000 credits away. But thanks, atleast we'll get 400 credits. Let alone it's so much harder to win star seasons now due to the beta AH, no one will win a star now besides the best player. They should've kept the three stars AND added the credits.

Star season winner should at least be (2 Stars + min bid coin for Star).

I now wish there was a back out option in Seasons...urgh

I'm waiting to see exactly what the new season rewards structure is before passing judgment.

Speaking as someone in Legendary season tier who knows that Star players are advancing further & further past me every day, I can appreciate the thunking behind nerfing the rewards. In theory it can prolong the game.

But it kinds sounds like it's going to be much, much harder to get even a single copy of a card from your current tier in rewards. If that's the case, where even a Star winner only gets one Star card, then that's too much nerfing. That seems like it'll make seasons less fun overall, thereby creating the opposite effect: it won't prolong the game because the rewards will have dampened player enthusiasm to play the game in the first place.
