Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Has anybody noticed one of their cards upgraded out the blue...when I first started this app...my first season I got 2 epic al Jeffersons.. But I didn't know it was best to max out both cards before combining at that time..so his stats were
248
290
121
276
Now out the blue its
306
311
141
293
How's this possibleComment

They sent update increasing all big men stats (pf/c). Your Jefferson still could have better stars if it was maxed properly.

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
That's something I was going to point out and did a little the other day. My job (I'm a teacher) doesn't allow me to grind 12-15 hours a day. If I did is get fired for not doing my job. I can post on the computer during the day when the kids are working because I'm the Computer Teacher. Other than that I play here and there when I won't get into trouble (admins aren't in eye sight) and when I get home from work till bed (11 PM CST). So I did as much as I could and ended up 220. If I can do that again and get a Leg card that would be sweet. I wish the prizes were better the first time but it was fun seeing how high I could get. Hopefully the Jordan one will happen during my spring break so I can literally play all day.I just want to say one thing to this point.
Going into the first Rivals, I had a lineup around 2200 across. I grinded for 5 hours a day, really getting into the app like I hadn't ever before. I finished 770, and got Rare Elgin Baylor.
And I have 4 kids. And my own business.
It's absurdly selfish of you to think the only people who grinded are the ones who won the Kobe card. I have yet to see the guy who finished #21 whining and moaning about only getting an Epic pack for his effort.
If you truly thought the first Rivals would be the last Rivals... you were foolish. But that doesn't mean the Kobe is worse than the other hundreds of people who grinded for hours a day, didn't get crap, and have yet to complain once. You knew the prize... you got the prize. There will be more Rivals after this one... I suggest those who got burned out take this one off for their sanity.
Good Luck!Comment

That will be my first question! I'm satisfied with him being banned though. Now can we keep this forum on topic please? I'm just getting to where the forum was closed yesterday, for being off topic in my catch up reading.Trey

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
It's not so much poor match-making, it's just there's not a ton of variety when it comes to deck strengths. It's like 90% of the players have a rating between 1500-2500 in all stats, and the rest of the outliers are few and far between. There's no way to accurately pair up players without having to wait days and days for a season to pair accurately then start.
Honestly, deep down I think that was partially the reasoning behind these beefed up Rivals awards this week. It was taking too much time for majority of active users to strengthen their decks, so one way to speed it up was to highly reward a lot of the active players in this event. Ultimately this'll lead to a huge spike in diverse decks, so that the system will start to be able to pair players more accurately also.
I still personally think the new rewards are too generous of an upgrade, which is probably why there's people asking to get rewards retroactively from the previous event. But ultimately the devs are right, they gave us what was advertised at the time and it's smarter business for them to keep their word.Last edited by fierzer; 02-24-2014, 12:39 AM.Comment
