I have tried that out as well with varied success. I'll have to give that a try again. I think the quick games in Rival mode is a little different than regular quick games. In the sense that regular quick games have a much wider range of lineups that you can face, whereas the rival quick games are much more narrow to accurately match you by point category.

I only lost games because i ****ed up basically. If i had Thadeus Young, it would be easier.

I used three rare pros with two commons last time. It worked fairly well for the most part. Faced other teams with rare pros and single epics with the occasional legendary thrown in there.

I don't really have any rare pros anymore just Buck Williams from getting two of his the other day.

When i had my best 5 last event they matched me up with legendary pro lineups.

Im going with kobe rodman and probably larry johnson with 2 commons

I got a lot of those but several teams I could beat. Really torn on what to do to be honest. My current QG LU is Lebron Leg, 98 Jordan, 87 Magic, Epic Pro Rondo, and my Elgin Leg Pro. Not sure what three to use. I just want finish within that top 500 to get that Leg card.

Let's all take a post and just simply put the team we are going with for this rivals event so that all of us on this forum can decide on the same team because us alone will make the team we choose win.

Spurs - I think the Duncan Rival Card would be nice. I would not mind going with the Rockets if that is what everyone decides on. Get your pick in ASAP so everyone is aware!!!!

Let's all take a post and just simply put the team we are going with for this rivals event so that all of us on this forum can decide on the same team because us alone will make the team we choose win.

Spurs - I think the Duncan Rival Card would be nice. I would not mind going with the Rockets if that is what everyone decides on. Get your pick in ASAP so everyone is aware!!!!

I'm leaning Spurs. I know I cannot play enough (unless its during spring break) to get a rivals card. So I'm shooting to finish top 500 (finished 220) last time so I can get a legendary. If its a David Robinson card for the Spurs it would give me a Leg Pro version of that card.

Which 3 were you using? Right now I'm trying out a 5 Rare Pro lineup to test out. However, that doesn't give me a good indicator how I'll match up against 5pt teams.

Yeah, I got rid of all my rare pro's except for the best two at every position just for cases like these.

I'm leaning towards the Spurs as well. They're the safer choice because we have no idea who the Houston legendary will be. (Robinson is pretty much guaranteed to be the Spurs legendary). I also think that the Duncan Rival card will be great.

I was out of the game for awhile, but this new Rivals event definitely has my interest. Grinding for two Jordan Hills was a total buzzkill the last time around, but I'm pretty much guaranteed my first Legendary (or better) if I put the same amount of effort in this time. Which I like.

FWIW, I'm going Spurs.

No idea wish we knew rewards before pciking.

I would love a dwight legend and i also have a single ginobli single parker so i can just take it easy finish at the bottom and get a duplicate one to combine.

Idc about those legendary single since i can field a line of only pfs and centers already.

Looks like a lot are going with the Spurs. I need to hear from EyeGotSoul and some of the other top 20 from last event. I see the Spurs taking this one at this point
