Star++ tier, 149 boards, 133 rares, 14 URs, 2 epics and that's it...

I started last Thursday in legendary ++ tier (before RTTC) in anticipation that my odds of dropping epics and legendaries would improve and I would most likely get some throughout RTTC event.

Well I was very wrong as a result of earning nothing greater than ultra rare from the draft board up until I'm writing this message. At this rate I would never even get a Epic. WTF CD!!

Drop rates are completely screwed up to the point that CD owes me big time.

I see others are having trouble with this. Any comments?

after that drop bug that we experienced last week for a couple of hours, maybe CD did do something with the drop rates. Star +, and i did not get any legendaries or stars during the whole RTTC weekend (aside from the rttc rewards of course).

Sure it's been posted somewhere (that I can't find).. But LOVE the fact they changed Jordan out of that ugly eyesore of a Wizards jersey and that I didn't feed him away prior lol. As a Bulls fan, my stomach turns every time I see him in that Wizards crap. All I think of is his botched fastbreak allstar dunk and Kwame Brown when I see it lol.

So after hitting the boosts bug in the first round of the playoffs last night, I ended up with two legendaries instead of Star for my season reward..

One of them ended up being John Wall though. Wizards is going to be the RC this week and I swear I saw Wall's name in the announcement. That probably means he will get be the RC star, right? No chance of his leg card coming up for a dupe then

I read every post, and this is the one sentence that really caught my eye too. I'm surprised no one has commented on it until now. So where is the damage going to be done, and what does that mean for players hoping to earn those playoff cards. There's only 32, remember, so how many do they want out there?

It doesn't sound good. In fact, it sounds pretty awful. I'm also surprised no one else flinched at that comment.

If the supply is too high, then maybe they've changed drop rates already. Which is why I'm seeing no epic or legendary drops? Or because CD is losing grip of the integrity of this game.

Sorry for busting your chops, SmartForce. I have been following your quest for a follow up to that open letter you penned to CatDaddy and NWGamedad. When you had, yet again, asked for a good faith response, I figured you were really annoying the crap out of NWGamedad. When he finally gave up on the "you are invisible" approach, his response was a pretty classic shutdown. He basically labeled you a troll, and it was kind of funny. But when he uped the ante in the next post with the whole Smartmove (sp?), I nearly peed my pants.

For better or worse, you have had a good, strong presence on these boards the last several weeks. In other words, we all know who the freak SmartForce is! When he "accidentally" spelled your name wrong, then never acknowledged you again, it was like he was hitting the perfect buttons to piss you off. Brutal, but I wouldn't take it personally.

Having said all that, I apologize again for being an a$$hole. Contributors like you that speak their mind add a great dialog to the community of this game. Please keep up the good work!

it probably means only the playoff tier season winner wins 1 playoff card (everyone else wins a star). alternatively you can buy one for 12500 credits.

I got into Star tier after that drop bug, and in the last 340 boards (excluding the freebie) I've only pulled one star, but also 6 legendaries and 11 epics.

Now I know I've jinxed it and fully expect UR at best until my next reset.

The only thing they could really do is drop the odds of higher tier cards coming up as board clears, and increase the reset card thresholds.

I'm not sure that would have a net positive impact on the bottom line though. I know that quite a lot of folks already feel that it's a pretty long grind to get from reset to reset ... I should think that some would just quit.

I hope that as the system drains with the new lowered top end rewards, the idea that there's a problem with how many cards are entering the system will dissipate.
