Damn and here i am thinking i was unlucky... 24 mvps opened and 10 dupes, 5 pgs though... 2 C, 2 PF and 1 SF...

Opening 24 mvp packs and ending up with 10 pairs is a significantly low probability event. You got crazy lucky.

This just solidified the wizards as the favorite this rc with a star arenas on the mix...

That's terrible. CD needed to make the Greek Freak into a Star ... guy is crazy gifted and the Bucks are like 2-3 years ahead of the experts' "projections" based in huge part on his huge range as a defender.

If people in the top 100 were smart, they'd go for the Bucks. Lanier's ATH + the ability + UR ATH enhancements will be deadly.

If anyone going for top 1K were smart, they would want that Lanier card. That is such a good card. UR/Epic ATH enhancements and his proc and he'll be a guaranteed win in ATH/ATH quarters. Obviously, the top 100 would get him Pro and he'd be even better. Fantastic card and so much better than that John Wall card.

So disappointed that this is almost certainly going to be a Wizards RC win. I hope CD considers having some other mechanic for the winning side next year, and gives people rewards based upon whom they rep. There are so many upsides to that (All the RC cards they create will be in play, making decks more varied ... less surges of the same Star and Legendary cards hitting the game all at once... probably more).

so, when there is an RC, only the top RC card on the losing side does not get added to the card catalog? everything from Stars downward gets added?

So I was hoping for some advice on how to set up my lineup for the RC starting in ~14 hours, and for seasons.

Current QG/RC Lineup: {Starter / Backup}

PG: Pro Star Steph Curry / Star Kyle Lowry
SG: RC Vince Carter / Star Clyde Drexler (Leg Pro Harden until I pro Drex or get a better starter like Pro Klay or something)
SF: Pro Star Nick Young / Epic Pro Paul Pierce <--- super weak spot in my deck
PF: Pro Star Horace Grant / Pro Leg Serge Ibaka <--- would like to add Pro Star Tim Duncan here
C: Pro Leg Deandre Jordan / Pro Epic Marcin Gortat <--- hoping to have Pro RC Bob Lanier here in a few days

So what would be my best bet for RC? I'm thinking Steph Curry, Nick Young and Horace Grant with a couple of URs with procs probably lets me go up against Star+ decks for +5s (may have to back out and get a new +5 a few times).

I've made peace with my issues with CD (see prior apology post) and so I picked up some credits so I can be sure to top-100 this coming RC ... but I'm super deep at PG, so I'm afraid of the Wizards winning because most of the younger players playing this app won't respect Bob Lanier (or realize how good the card is).

Should I just finish Top 1k instead to push into star seasons a little sooner? If so, what should I snag for my Center and backup SF? (Two biggest positions of weakness). Horace Grant has very good rebounding, so I'm thinking I need a very good def score at Center.

Advice on how to play the coming RC and get over the hump into star seasons would be greatly appreciated. Sadly 3 Star Pros, 1 RC star, 4 Stars, 3 Leg Pros and 4 Epic Pros with 2x Leg Supports aren't quite enough to squeeze in there. I'd love to start up a Star season along with the RC since I'll be grinding anyway and I can just steady refresh every game.

And wow ... I just wrote a novel. Sorry for the dissertation level post. Thanks in advance for whatever advice I get. I'll cliffnotes the main things I'm trying to decide:

1.) Whether to top-100 this coming RC or instead use credits to better the lineup now. (As a note, this is probably the only RC I can realistically top-100 until the college semester ends, as I normally lecture and have officer hours on Thursdays).
2.) What I need to tip my season deck into Star territory so I can start just collecting my obligatory star every 4 days instead of running into Trucks in Legendary seasons.
3.) Advice on specific players to snag at Small Forward, Power Forward and Center (assuming Bucks lose and I don't get 2x Lanier ... I need to decide on 2 players for seasons here).
4.) The best lineup I can run in the RC with the cards I have (or depending on advice for question 1 and 3, could have). I will be using 2 devices to speed through +5s, and I would like to have close to 95% win rate if that's possible, so I can shoot for top-100.

Personally, I have never been a RC maniac, because once you start... IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to stop. Having said that...

1. Top anything in RC is a major commitment consisting of three main factors: Time, Credits, and Competition. It sounds like you have the time now. It sounds like you have the ability to get the credits, whether by pay or auction house. A second question pops up their and it comes down to the value you will get out of said credits. Dropping thousands on Hot Streaks can be worth it if you see your journey to the top through. If not, wasted credits. Finally, the competition. Now could be the time to strike Rival Clash wise. New tier coming soon, two lame duck teams... competition could be at an all time low. Then again, I've thought this and been wrong.

I would say go hard the first day, should give you a good idea on competition. See where your at after 24 hours, and this question becomes easier to answer.

2. Not sure if typo... but if you do have two Clyde Drexlers, Proing them would be a good start. Also, Star Lewis has a lot of good buy back deals out on the auction house now. You could maybe work a trade for World for Lewis or vise versa. I actually Pro'd Lewis and he is pretty useful with his stock 3514 Offense. I used 3 UR Off enhancements and at 3589 Off he can win most Offensive vs. battles even out of position.

I want to say the minimum to get in Star Season is around 103,500 Total Team Stats. I got this number from taking a fully trained Star (6,900) times 15 spots. Because I think it is a minimum of 15 fully trained Stars.

3. Again, I like Lewis's offense and he is available on the cheaps.

4. Lots of options you have amigo. It seems like each Rival Clash sets match ups a bit different. I have a feeling you will find something that works well after a bit of trial and error. If not, come back and ask around again.

Good luck if you are going for it man! It's a tough decision. SO MUCH TIME!!! But, as I stated with the new Playoff Tier coming, competition should be low. But then again you will be playing hard for cards that could be "outdated" in a week or two. Let me know what you decide, brother.

I think with the current cards you have, you should be able to make Star Season. Sure, some would be out of position, but thats ok, as the goal is to just make it past the first round of playoffs.

People really need to decide what they want from CD and stick with it. New star for a team and "CD is just making it harder for us to get a dupe." No new star for a team and "CD is lazy and incompetent." Can't have your cake and eat it too gents, that's what having girlfriends/wives are for hahaha
