Well I managed to get the legendary card last time playing +5 games, they were close and I lost a couple but I got there...

I got absolutely destroyed in the +2 Star card games.. And I don't think I've improved my deck enough for that to have changed..

All of a sudden I don't really feel all that motivated to try and do so before the next one starts.

The jump from Leg to Star is absurd. I managed much like you to grab Melo with +5's by the end. Tried a Star +2 got smashed to bits, so stopped there. Since then I've managed a top 1000 finish in the RC and snagged a Star freebie, do you know how much it'll help me win Star RTTC? It won't, I still don't have the cards to win a single Star +2 match and now $D wants to make it even harder for me, come on.

It feels hopeless, I have to dedicate 4 days of my time every two weeks to winning two star cards and even if I do it 9 more times (for 25 star level cards) I'll still not have a deck capable of winning the final round at +2.

Finally made it into star++ tier and boy am I getting slaughtered. Recently ran into joenuts' 2 RS pros and Hakeem HOF LU, it wasn't even close lol.

Feels like I need to strategize all over again

I actually have an RS MJ Pro, MVP Magic Pro, RC single KD, RC single Aldridge and HoF Dream single as well. Not too tough to beat with 3 star pros lvl 20, use your commons against my MJ and Magic and star pros against the single rc and hof.

So should I try and pro Butler? His Def doesn't exactly stick out for it to be his best stat.

Yep I got a top 1000 in the RC too, so my deck improved by the 2 John Walls, and 1 more Leg Pro.

But yes I agree with StarForge it's a great way to stack picks.... well until they "fix" that too

Yes because his def will beat most reb, pm and ath. just wont beat too many offensive players.

Well ... made the finals in my first Star season with a total of 4 losses in the regular season and the #1 seed. Facing the #2 seed in the finals. Just beat the #4 seed by 10, 14, 10 and 20 points in the semis.

Hopefully the season will be over in four hours in victory I guess... wish I had done this a couple months ago when said victory would have been 3 star cards lol.

I'm running 3 maxed star pros (my only 3 star pros) but they just happen to be on the low end. I desperately need athleticism, defense and rebounding. Hell I barely have decent playmaking. I just need to get better cards but it'll take time.
