It's amazing how much more enjoyable RTTC is than RC.

Prior to this RTTC, RC was my favorite of the two(didn't have a chance of getting star or better in RTTC) now im getting kd and LBJ. Ima wait till after CD messes rttc up before I declare it to be better

RC was more enjoyable when I had a poorer deck, whereas RTTC gets more enjoyable as your deck gets stronger.

This is for people think doing well in seasons matter. Its all about what u do in playoff. His team 10 star pros my team 1 rc pro, 3 mvp pros , & 2 star pros

I think doing well in season still matters if you don't have a tank lineup. I've eliminated 3 real players on the 1st round because they didn't think doing well in season matters and they fell on the bottom of the standings where they faced me on the 1st round (I was number 3 seed and eliminated a number 14 seed twice and I was number 5 seed and eliminated a number 12 seed once) if they just played the regular season and energized twice or three times a day they could've had a better placement in the bracket and faced bots instead.

RC was more enjoyable when I had a poorer deck, whereas RTTC gets more enjoyable as your deck gets stronger.

Yep.... Us broke deck players get a better chance to up our lineup in the RC.

If you look at the "double" events, what you see is that the winner gets "double" the points that the winner gets for the 1v1 in that particular game. For the 1v1 matchups, there are the following point possibilities (although I've seen one anomaly this RttC where I won the 1v1 matchup but equal points were awarded):

5 - 3
6 - 4
7 - 5

So the "double" events end up making that matchup score either 10-3, 12-4 or 14-5 (for a +7, +8 or +9 differential). I believe the "bugged" aspect to this is that they intended for the loser to also get double points, and so the differential will simply be +2 for the 1v1 and +4 for the 2v2.

This will have a fairly minimal impact if it is indeed the fix that's coming. If you win all the "double" events, then you will be at +16 point differential. The 1v1 events still add up to -24 for all 12 of them. So that would be a net loss of 8 points if you won only the "double" events.

For each 1v1 that you can win instead of lose, the swing is 4 points (you gain 2 while the AI loses 2), so winning just two of the 1v1 would result in a tie. Thus far, ties have been counted as wins. If that continues to be the case, then you simply need to add three more cards into a third position and you're set. If you want to win by 2 points, you would add 4 more into a position (to ensure you saw at least 3 of them) and there you go.

Since they made the event easier already, I doubt they will intentionally make the event impossibly hard or anything. I think that the bug is just that the losing side of the "double" event doesn't get double points, and once that's fixed, it's a slight adjustment to the strategy.

The thing about RC is that time is the currency. If you are willing to put in 40 hours out of the 90 and you can manage just 40 +5 wins an hour, you will get 8,000 points, which is safely in the top 1,000 and will net an RC and Star card in the current rewards. You could do this with a deck of any tier.

If you can play faster and knock out 80 wins an hour (which is 25% slower than the top players), then you need only invest 20 hours on +5 games. If you feel like using hot streaks, you can finish top 1K with just 10 hours invested plus the HS credits.

The RttC, in contrast, requires you to buy game nights or hot streaks ... or manage your time around the game night regeneration system.

Yea kind of stuck my foot in my mouth there lol, but 1st time Ive ever seen it do that. Either Im blind or really good at pacing my tier to end on the exact number.

SF never fails to impress. Like I can argue errr "debate" with anyone about anything but I can do it only so many times in a day before im like "F- it I don't care anymore" while SF on the other hand posts 20 page essays as warmups.

Wait until you see the RttC guide I'm working on! I don't want to have to edit it in case my assumption about how it's currently bugged is wrong and some other change comes, but I'm still able to do a lot of the work on it ahead of time, so I should be able to post it pretty early in the first RttC with the changes.
