Okay, I'm not sure it's the right topic, but I'll take a shot:

So, here is the thing, I've 9 star pro in my Season line-up & 1 leg pro.

I was considering to buy Kempf as my 10th Star Pro, but I know that the playoff tier is coming this week.

So my question is, is it worth to buy Kempf, or should I just wait & grab a PF from playoff tier ?

10 star pros seems to be bare minimum to make playoff tier (might be more).
Considering the unknown of playoff card supply/price on the market, getting kemp now will still be useful for your season or RTTC lineup.
CD is fixing the draft tier glitch on the next RTTC

How does the game determine what your reset amount is? Is it the tier you play the current or most of your games in? Is it the tier where you hit your last reset? I ask because I am at ~240 resets in Star++ without a Star but my last clear was probably a tier lower.

You're reset is whatever tier you are playing in - since you are in star++ you will get a star

I know that. What I'd like to know is whether it's 220, 240 or 260 clears and how that is determined.

The counter just goes up with every board clear. With 240 clears now, if you drop down to leg++ you will get your reset right away so that would be silly. The reset counter goes up with all the board clears you get up untill you get a drop from your current qc tier. That is when it drops to 0. So the stupidest thing to do is to play 200+ clears in star tier and then drop to lower tier because it doesnt matter if your best QC lineup would be star++, if you drop down to lets say epic qc tier and get epic card from the draft board, your counter goes back to 0.

The only thing that changes from +/++ is the reset count. Game doesn't care where you spent your time. All about where you are now...

In other words, play another 20 or so in Star + (it has the same drop rate as Star++) for easier wins and therefore more draft picks, and then move up when you get to 260.

Star + is 20 board clears less than Star...and Star ++ is 40 boards less than Star

Haha, DAMN I didn't even recognize your name! If you need the credits brother the season is yours! I just won my first ever Star Season... it cost me like 20 hours... I got the 1,000 credits which was kind of nice I guess... then two slot Fraizer haha. As I've stated, I just pretty much game manager 4 times, usually just enough to energize 4 games through the first round. I've been getting lazier and lazier waiting for PO tier to drop! BTW, what is your line up? I've got 10 Spro's, but only one at SG and SF which pisses me off now that I know the 5% bump comes into play.

Well... considering I already have him pro'd... and the 2 slot I won last night is fully trained and on the auction house... I would have to say NO! If it was a SG or SF I probably would have considered it.

Luckily I didn't draft a legendary all week while I dropped to legendary tier.... Now back up to star+... Let's hope I got alot of resets this RC
