Haha, the same thing happened to me. I pulled an Epic during my first couple days of playing and at the time I remember thinking it wouldn't be so bad. I didn't get another one for almost a month. Found this forum just after the time I pulled my 2nd Epic. Yea, I can agree with you on that. I was one of those people lol. The first couple RC's were pretty insane.
We won't speak of how terrible the drop rates were back then, will bring up bad memories lol
I only played about 25k games in 2k14 (I say only because I already have nearly 30k this year) and I drafted 1 legendary card. The only legend I pulled was a Legendary Jason Williams. I'm definitely glad that there is a tier system this time around.
I've matched up against this guy who is in leg tier with a 1-2 record. He has a mvp lebron, mvp kobe, mvp rose and a star harden. All fully trained. How are you gonna stop buying cards at the leg tier? You already threw down a lot of cash to get the cards (can't imagine he got those 3 mvps in his first 3 packs) then more money to max them without grinding qgs. At least get to star tier.
To further clarify again: DO NOT contact smartforce. He will probably rip your head off with mathematical equations. And I don't want to watch a grown man/woman cry. HAHA
I'm tempted to start PMing you differential equations.
QG Tier: Legendary++
Season Tier: Epic
MVP: Legendary Pro MVP Curry Lineup:
PG: Foil Legendary Pro MVP Stephen Curry
SG: Foil Epic Pro George Gervin
SF: Foil Legendary Pro LeBron James
PF: Foil Epic Pro Larry Johnson
C : Foil Epic Pro Robert Parish
I know it's not but considering I've only ever gotten the freebie it still feels like it could be wrong. (Also I got my star freebie while I was in leg tier on the rttc board.) These would be quick leg resets and I feel lucky that im getting them considering some people don't get any between stars
