Rondo destroyed his next contract with how he played in Dallas. I'm not sure what was up with that because he always struck me as the kind of player who didn't really care much when the games were insignificant, but he always had an extra gear for the big games. He was consistently that way in Boston.

He didn't really fit well in Dallas (and the trade was widely panned at the time). If he was really hurt and playing through injury, that totally sucks for him. He needs to go somewhere that he will fit. He's a defensive pass first PG and unless he invests a ton of time working up a perimeter game, that's what he's always going to be. If I were him, I'd be working on a mid-range and outside game like crazy and sign a one year prove it deal ... my guess is he takes a lengthy deal in the 8-10 mil a year range somewhere that he'll fit in as an asset.

Even as a Celtics fan, I can't say that Rondo ever struck me as a kid with a lot of work ethic. He has raw talent that he just hasn't worked on developing. Imagine if he put in time like Jordan did and had spent the last 5-6 years working on his mid-range and outside shooting? Like ... I'm pretty sure a lot of teams would take his defense if he could also give them like 18 and 8 a game along with that, right?

If he could drop like 45-40-88 splits he could do that pretty easily on limited shots.

SF: Either Batum, Leg Lebron SR off, rare Reb, Epic Pro Iggy rare PM, UR Def, SR Reb



PF: Leg Jamison UR and SR Reb, Epic Charles Oakley 3 rare off, Epic Rudy LaRusso 2 rare off



C: Leg Bosh UR Reb, UR Pro Splitter 2 rare def, All Star Yao UR Def.



Supports: +24 Reb team; +40 ath team



Should I grab another dupe or grab a leg PG? Also if I should get a dupe, Lebron would be the best to get, right? If I get a PG who should I get?

Long term a Legend would be better, but at your stage a Epic Pro is also helpful. As he is stronger than a single legend.

I like it, with that many years of experience he will have a wide range of coaching ideas as well as the experience with developing younger players and knowing how to treat the well, which is what the Thuder have built themselves on.
