Buybacks absolutely ruin the AH market for everyone.

I think $D's minimums ruin the AH market, the buybacks are just a way to combat the horrendous pricing tiers the economic geniuses have placed on the AH.

Why should it? It might ruined the market on the forum, but not overall. As we do only have a small percentage of players registered.

People asking for buybacks or even offer on stuff that would easily sell without.
Best example is training fodder or popular players, place it on the right time and it will sell. It is really not the fault of CD if some guys are not able to do that.

I would offer buybacks just for guys I know, to make it a bit cheaper for them or to help them out.

I think $D's minimums ruin the AH market, the buybacks are just a way to combat the horrendous pricing tiers the economic geniuses have placed on the AH.

I should probably add, people's lack of patience ruin the AH market on top of buybacks. Sure the minimums don't help but if people were willing to wait for things to sell instead of just going straight to buybacks then things wouldn't be as bad as they are now.

I understand where you are coming from, and by no means am i trying to undercut other auctions and auctioneers. But my counter argument is that the cards that I have listed have no market value at the current market rate that is set with the tax.

By no means I am offering any of the more popular cards in this offer; which i do have that are waiting to be sold too.

I'm only offering it on these cards which have no value to me, and no market value at it's current rate, to people who could use them.

I should probably add, people's lack of patience ruin the AH market on top of buybacks. Sure the minimums don't help but if people were willing to wait for things to sell instead of just going straight to buybacks then things wouldn't be as bad as they are now.

The problem is, and $D has admitted as much, that at the current minimums some cards are unsellable.

Do WBF and the Armpit hold the same value as kyrie irving or lebron james? I would have never bought a WBF if someone didn't offer a buyback, I just would have never bought WBF to dupe. Fortunately I was able to get a good deal, and both parties befitted. I'd rather make 1000 creds on a one slot start card instead of training it away, or listing it 15 times hoping someone will buy it.

Sure, someone might get desperate and bid on some of the crappier cards, but buybacks also help the community by giving people an easier way to progress their deck. All but one of my spro's have come from trades, which I prefer doing in place of buying back. I hope the AH on 2k16 has some sort of trade facilitator, but I'm probably dreaming.

Statement wasn't aimed at you specifically so no worries. More at the frustration of people saying "I'll only buy something with this amount of buyback." It's definitely capitalistic but honestly, if you don't have the credits then you can't buy it and that's the breaks. I'm all for helping others out but not to the point where it starts a potential train of market destruction.

Thats not really a counter argument, since his point was that every card has market value if you're patient enough to play the market. I've seen people sell the weaker of Star cards w/o buybacks. Myself, I've bought both Lillard & Teague off of AH & they are the 2 LOWEST rated Star cards in the game.

Ugh me to, I got an early one on my last reset, so I thought I'd be good before jumping up to get my PO freebie. After the update didn't come out I'm up on the mid 100's for my reset counter, so I'm getting at the point where I'd probably keep grinding for my star reset before jumping up to grab my freebie.

That's a different story for sure, and it has especially gotten out of hand with people wanting 3k buybacks for the top tier guys.

Every card has a market value, but don't expect to get AD with a 2k buyback lol

I'll be honest here and say that when you call them $D, it kinda ruins your objectivity in my eyes. Isn't the AH already designed to help progress you faster than normal? Plus RTTC and RC, people just want it faster than fast.
