Women would never understand the concept if spending money on game and in game merchandise.

But to be fair, most guys don't understand the concept of spending that kind of money on out of game merchandise either, so it's basically even.

You can't tell me I'm not getting just as much value from the DWade Legend I bought yesterday as they do from the 12th pair of shoes.

Damn all u dudes wasting cash on this app like its some sort of amazing innovative breakthrough game. I dont see any point in blowing so much money because u r not gaining anything from it. What am i missing here? Only reason to get good cards is to have a chance to win season. Im at around 4,000k in each category and have won 10 seasons in a row. The thing is its not even recorded or marked anywhere as a stat so once u win and get an epic everything is reset. Winning a season is basically the same as winning a quick game and drafting an epic.*

They took advantage of our deep love for basketball and used it against us to drain peoples money. Some slick people over there at catdaddy. Cant wait to see what kind of clevert sh** they will come up with next.*

Like others have said theres no balance in this game. People that spend money get the VIP treatment while others r kicked to the curb.

Then why keep playing?

Clearly you're burned out. You've stated before that collecting the Catalog doesn't interest you (hint: it does interest 85% of us, this is a card collecting game, that's why we're here), so you don't get enjoyment out of Epics at all because, while for many of us it's another slot down in the Catalog, for you its a waste.

Clearly season match making will never be fixed (despite the dev saying it would be), and nothing new will ever be introduced (proven by the new Rivals mode that's still being refined weekly), so there's no future potential for value either.

So why keep playing? No one is holding a gun to your head. The day a game isn't fun anymore at all... it's time to find a new game.

Hey, new guy here. I just discovered this app like Thursday or so. Didn't realize there was a rival event going on until Friday evening. I was losing interest until about 600 games in when I hit a Lebron legendary. I've been hooked since. I got a legendary hot streak card about 400 games later and a epic Paul Pierce a few hundred games later. It seems like the rare cards are dropping really good for me too. A lot better since I started playing the rivals event. I'm around 1800 quick game played and I have a decent starting lineup I think.Legend Lebron, Pro Jason Kidd, Pro Tyson Chandler, Pro Rubio, and Epic Piece. Sitting around 2,000 in the event and hope to get the Pro Duncan. Working today so we'll see. Any tips are appreciated as I haven't even touched the season play yet. Sorry for the long post. lol

I think I just received some of your luck. As soon as I read this post I drafted my second Jason Kidd. He is already one of my best players and now I can make him pro.

Oh it is card collecting game? Good luck with that bro. It will take you years and thousands of $ to collect all the cards. I hope your not dumb enough to collect the support cards too because that itsself will take you couple million games played.

Make sure u print out those cards before this game shuts down in a couple months.

I agree with Shokase to an extent. To my knowledge, I never spent a penny on a mobile game. They really did take advantage of our passion for the game. But it is the person's fault for falling into the trap (it is my fault).

As much as I love the game, I think it would be best if I never got it. I was attracted by the free VC and look what it turned to haha.

I have to agree with DCGMoo, I mean, If you have some extra cash lying around, for entertainment , I think it is valid to spend it here. I believe, and this is just my opinion here, I may be wrong, but Shokase, you are burnt out...
And this isn't news...
I don't know if you guys remember, but a few weeks ago the thread was shut down because people were talking about other stuff other than the game. One of the main guys was you Shokase, discussing about the Knicks season. Now, I'm not critiquing, just stating a fact.
I think you are experiencing some anger due to how much time and effort you put in this game, which was a lot, and you are angry to see that this game doesn't bring you the same joy anymore.
Bottom line, I think that spending money is valid, especially in this card collecting games...

Changed my mind about the top 10, I have plenty of emergency credits saved up and I don't buy packs so making a run at this. Sitting at 9 now, Cisco better wake up lol.
