For both teams right? I agree they shouldn't be allowed near their coach, similar to how fighters aren't allowed near their corners during stoppage time in MMA, but it goes both ways.. Bulls got a free timeout too.

You dont need a timeout to defend. You need a timeout to organize a quick play to score.

It definitely helps.... You're on the inbound, we don't switch on picks or we automatically do, foul ASAP, deny x person the ball, pack the paint and so on..... allows you to communicate more than normal

I don't think so. I disagreed with commentators on that one...that foul shouldn't be called in the last seconds of the game. Lebron didn't even take it to the rack hard.

What do you mean he didn't take it to the rack hard? He drove baseline and was deep under the basket how can a player go harder than that? Noah jumped and collided with LeBron as LeBron was trying to rise up to shoot a layup so its a foul.

I disagree, some coaches calls a timeout to tell their players a defensive set, or they sub in defensive/rebounding specialist to help to get a stop until coaches stop doing that then a timeout is needed to defend. To be honest people around the world watching that game, Bulls players, Bulls coaching staff know that ball is going in to LeBron's hands they just did a bad job denying him the ball.
