All of his records should be separated from the rest, he was way too overpowered in his time, and his records are ridiculous, I doubt anyone will ever reach 100 points or 55 rebounds.
As astronomical as his numbers are, there is still a minuscule chance someone could hit his points and rebounding numbers eventually the longer the game is around. No one is ever going to beat averaging 48.5 minutes played for a whole season lol.
Also about Wilt, at that time there were no blocks in staticks. Someone on NBA Tv told he blocked 26 shots against pistons and that he has the most quadriple doubles that didnt count. He simply avaraged about 10 block per game in his career.

Dude took almost 40 shots and 17 free throws a game in that 50 ppg season. It was a different era back then, so hard to compare really. If a LeBron, KD, Steph or someone similar took 40 shots and 17 ft a game they couldn't score 50+ every game? Especially given that they are all much, much better free throws shooters than Wilt lol. The game isn't like that anymore though, and you are totally correct that those records are untouchable given how the nba has changed.
Up untill some point this season, Anthony Davis had the highest PER in the history of the NBA (even higher than Wilt's -NBA record- PER).
P.S. I personally think that Big O's triple double seasons, are the greatest individual achievement in the history of the sport.
It's hard to argue with Oscar having the best season ever. Doing what he did as a 6'5" point guard is just stupid. People don't appreciate how great he was back then. Probably since he was overshadowed by Wilt's ridiculous scoring and Russell winning a million titles.

westbrook tried to take 40 shots a game and his shooting percentage was terrible. With advanced metrics and scouting reports, no one will probably ever touch those records, so we should appreciate them for what they are. Best individual season, Jordan's 92-93 season- was a beast in the regular season, but his complete domination in the playoffs was something to behold

So was 90% of Big O's career -- no stats on blocks, steals, TOs.
Be aware that Big O has 1 triple-double season, and 3 almost triple-double seasons:
3rd Season: 28.3 ppg, 9.5 apg, 10.4 rpg
4th Season: 31.4 ppg, 11.0 apg, 9.9 rpg
5th Season: 30.4 ppg, 11.5 apg, 9.0 rpg

Give MJ that many shots and he would've averaged 50+ too. Westbrook isn't a very good shooter so I agree with you on that. The players I mentioned and MJ would have a damn good shot at it...but again, it's not the way the game is played anymore so it's kinda a moot point.
