I'm in an all bot season, and bots have PO Greats too.

Are you positive they are bots? CD has never allowed bots to have special cards

I thought about it but ... $5,000 is a lot to drop on a game that will be replaced by a new one in a few months ... and doing so would rob me of having any goals or anything to try and achieve before the next app.

I need to sell like 110 playoff cards, roughly, and I could get 54 greats packs without spending any money. That seems like a good plan. I might even manage to get like 25% of the way there before the next app

54 packs wouldn't guarantee 10 pros. What if you get 3 of the same card?

The whole analytic's thing, the 3 point-free throw-layup gameplan, and coaching style ... just doesn't seem like basketball. Makes me sound like an old man but still, you feel the game naturally and yes, there is a place for numbers but you can't just plug stats and numbers into an algorithm and say this style and players will get us a championship. So many more intangibles go into a sport like basketball

I don't mind all the analytics, for one I think it's interesting but I don't necessarily put all my eggs into one basket (no pun intended) around those stats. I think every team has adopted some version of what Morey uses (or that's what I read when all the teams gather for their yearly conferences) when building their roster.

It's Harden and Howard's game that I can't stand and don't enjoy watching.

I'm sure. I saw a post on twitter in the past, before they released PO tier, that bots will have special cards too, to seasons be a little bit hardened. And I'm sure I'm with full bots, cause they have names like Supersonik, etc... And bots use boosts during regular season games.

EDIT: I would like to play some humans in star season, but they (if they're humans) don't respond to my messages in season chat.

Statistically speaking, I should get some repeats long before the 45th pack (which would be the first time I would be guaranteed a repeat if I got all 44 different Greats first). My expectation would be that I could get 10 dupes in less than 54 packs, but that seems like a reasonably pessimistic estimate

So the PnP pierce is going to only be available to people who don't need it. That's pretty uncool. They spread the Playoff card out an extra 1,000 spaces over where the Star card used to be, but shrunk the RC + PO (previously RC + Star) tier by 200 spaces as an offset. Basically the top-100 is way more valuable to aim for than the 101-800, and 801-1800 is a pretty good spot to aim at for people who don't want to have to grind heavily.

What do you guys think ... 10k points for 101-800 bracket?
