None of those guys can dominate, they have size and physicality. They just dont have the presence and athleticism of D12.

They don't need Bogut/Ezeli/Speights to dominate offensively though. D12 may be more athletic, but that's all he has going for him. He has no post game whatsoever...IMO Marc Gasol was the more difficult matchup.

The difference is Houston relies on Howard as an offensive weapon, and he can be easily neutralized. GS doesn't need Bogut to dominate on the offensive end.

Bogut, Ezeli, and Speights are all 7 footers or pretty much there. How do the Warriors not have size??

Put D12 in foul trouble -- Rockets immediately got nothing in the paint. Can't even use any other big man as a decoy to let Harden drive in the lane/to the basket.

I wouldn't bet on Josh Smith's midrange jump shot, even though he is hot at the perimeter somehow.

What I meant was they dont have any good guys with size, they are all mediocre big guys that just take up space.

5, 1 and 4 ppg in the playoffs are really numbers for them, dwight is averaging more than all 3 combined.
8, 2 and 1 rpg is also less combined than dwight in rebounding. So they really dont have size.

You're basing size off of points and rebounds per game? There's a lot of metrics that doesn't just involve the stat line you know....

Golden state doesnt really have any size so I think Dwight will dominate, Curry will shoot lights out, Harden wont defend or may sit out again like game 6 and Houston wins.

Bogut has been the Dubs version of DeAndre. He does his job and he does it well. And then they have Ezuli, Speights, hell even David lee can slap the softy around if he needs. The key thing is you don't HAVE to dominate Howard. Just give him trouble, frustrate him and put a body on him. He has NO offensive game, and relies entirely on his athleticism. Even if he scores 25 points who cares. if the rest of the dubs shuts down Harden, it'll be gg. and HOU has no way to stopping both Klay AND Curry without opening the cutting lanes for people to slash. The dubs didn't get the best record in the league because they got lucky. Don't even get me started on the bench comparisons. Dubs in 5.

I am rooting for the Dubs, but i dont think they have a player to equal D12's size+athleticism. They can guard him, and trap him and double team him, but on 1-on-1 situations, he has a clear advantage.

But i think the Warriors main focus, should be stopping Harden. Let Howard do a 25-20. They cant lose from him.

Joe, I think you're overlooking a few things here. I'm not trying to be homer but if you look at the matchups, the Rockets are clearly the underdog.

The Rockets rely on Harden/Dwight as offensive weapons. Dwight has absolutely ZERO post game, he's good for offensive rebounds/putbacks. The Warriors have Barnes/Thompson to guard Harden. If you look at the matchups, Harden shot 41% and 24% from 3 against the Warriors this season. Who's going to stop Curry/Thompson combo from the Rockets? Even if they do, Harnes/Green can score.

Bogut doesn't need to be an offensive juggernaut for the Warriors to succeed. All he needs to do is contain D12 which isn't really that difficult if he has good positioning. If Bogut gets in foul trouble, Ezeli and Speights comes off the bench. Who do the Rockets have after D12..?

I know you're trying to save credits for RTTC/RC, but if you really think Houston would win, I would dish out 8000 credits to you if Rockets in the series. Warriors win, you dish out 8000. I mean you seem fairly confident Rockets are gonna win,so why not easily double your credits to 16000? Deal???? =)

Tried selling my 2S Duncan for around 13k for a few days, never any bites. Decided to just hang on to him. Thought about buying the 10k one on the AH, but got cold feet.
