I don't wanna pop your bubble but 9k will be pushing it for 800 and that's putting it nicely... think about the teams and player cards in the top 800. Happier note: I finally get a draftable Kobe in a relevant tier! New MVP for sure and will definitely be looking for another to pro.

I think 9k will be enough. There is going to be a drop off of people grinding for top 800 from the fatigue of the last RC. There were many people who don't normally shoot for an RC card that were shooting for top 800 because of the allure of having a playoff RC, and they did not realize the grind would be so difficult until they were in too deep.


A significant drop off occurred after the first time the Star tier RC card was made available to the top 1000. The 2nd RC required significantly less points once people realized how bad it sucks to grind for an RC card.

Maybe, maybe not... first Knicks RC and Kobe in that bracket for one the sports most popular teams. I just don't see a drop off happening here considering everything.... but hey, wishful thinking might help you out with grind.

I am talking popularity. I have the utmost respect for Ali, especially for his personality. But MJ in on a different level than anyone else, in terms of popularity and recognizability (is that a word?). Everyone, all around the world, knew MJ.

Maybe you guys living in the US, think that things are the same everywhere. They're not. I am sure Ali was huge in the USA, but in other countries/continents it wasnt so. Of course, he was known, but MJ was in another level. EVERYONE knew who MJ was, there is no comparison.

I knew what you meant and my statement still stands lol Ali was awarded that honor in 1999 so Jordan's greatness was still fresh and relevant and Ali still won.
