See it from our side, the statement, "nothing sells", is flat out not true. There are plenty of cards selling on the AH. Some absolutely do not sell, but that has more to do with supply and demand (i.e. there is too much supply). It's why the PO tier works well in the AH because the supply is low in comparison to past tiers.


If we were to get rid of minimums or lower them significantly with the way the overall card and currency economy works right now, then everyone would simply trade cards at virtually no cost, resulting in people having final decks very very quickly. Then everyone just be demanding that the game is boring because you need more content, everyone has the same deck, etc.


It isn't as simple as lowering the minimums will solve all the problems. It's bigger than that and will take some serious changes to address. For now, the AH is accomplishing something that people wanted from '14, you can exchange cards with each other, and gain a benefit from cards you no longer use. You just can't get that benefit for *every* card. I'm ok with that, since there are plenty of cards that are selling and benefiting people. Some have figured out ways to sell even the "unsellable" too but timing auctions right, leveling them, or the right enhancements. Auction Houses sometimes take some time from the player in order to fully take advantage of them.

I agree with the "general concept" of what you're saying, but for normal Pro Stars, it's not a matter of supply and demand. It's a matter of quality+price = unsellable.

I have listed 9-10 times, the very best (and most "wanted" in the past) Pro Stars, Kawhi Leonard, Klay Thompson (SG) and Anthony Davis. No bids, ever.

Why would someone pay 11k (the minimum) for a Pro Star Anthony Davis, when he can spend the same credits for Pro Star MVP Bob Pettit (for example), who has much higher attributes in every single stat?

I am sure you have the data to check it, normal Pro Stars sales in AH are ridiculously low, if not zero.

Also, the difference between a Pro Star and Pro PO is just 2k. That's a very very small difference, which makes Pro Stars even more unsellable.

RC cards that have never gone out to players are now auctionable. When a Rivals Clash event ends, one side wins and those cards are issued to the players, the other side's cards do not go out so those are the "RC loser" cards.


Now the real question is why did we make them auctionable if no one has them yet. Hmmmm, more to come later this week.

You should give me 4 of each, i will keep the dupe and sell the other dupe so that the "community" can buy them from me! This way everyone wins.

Hm....so maybe I'm not totally grasping the concept here, but if Apple/Google takes 30% of CD's revenue, by lowering Star cards/Pro Cards prices, wouldn't CD actually benefit since there would be some more fluid sales in the economy as opposed to NO sales at all in today's environment??

I still blame all the people buying greats packs as the reason no cards sell on AH now. For every pack bought, 14,000 credits left "our" economy and went back to cat daddy.... Now imagine how many packs have been bought.. Millions of credits have left the AH economy...

Can somebody explain to be how in the past losing RC cards become actionable, nobody has these cards to list up.

Yeah... It takes like 500 cards to train a PO....

True, but you should make your peace with the fact that all your legendaries, legendary pros, stars, star pros, MVPs and HOF have next to no resell value and can safely be trained away. That at least covers a lot of my leveling up of playoff cards.

Ok yes to say all cards don't sell is a lie. However most really do not sell. Like legendaries for example unless your card is LeBron,Harden,Davis or maybe Curry they pretty much do not sell. Same goes for star cards the majority don't sell. Like for example I have a D Wade who isn't a bad card and is still a popular player I've tried everything to sell him but he just won't sell. He is fully trained as well but even with offering a buyback I still can't sell him.

I sold plenty of "unpopular" legendarys, all down to timing and luck

Barely...I had almost the same as you last RTTC and I on maybe 2 out of 10...about 80% of my wins came as ties

Edit: you can win easily probably...I thought it said star+ lol
