My guess is that buybacks skew the AH stats so CD thinks cards are selling fine, when a lot of them have deals involved.

Even with huge buybacks most things are a big struggle to sell but yh deals with buybacks could make it seem to them like things actually sell fine. Like for example it was obviously said before but why are regular stars and mvp stars the same price. Of course everyone will go for the mvp for the same price as they're better in every way.

I am pretty sure that even with the buybacks, normal Pro Star sales are close to zero.

Definitely, but NWGD is looking at the AH as a whole, not just one specific tier, even though the star tier is the most messed up tier on the AH.

The weird thing is they sort of admitted they screwed up the pricing of pro's because i think the minimums for PRO PO cards are less than the price of buying two individual PO cards, so I don't see why they wouldn't implement the change across tiers.

Yep even with a big buyback I can't even sell a fully trained D Wade who isn't a bad card and is also a very popular player.

Anything helping you get to a W = NOT useless

The RTTC is in no way comparable to intricacies of chess, and they are not helping you get a W because they win 0 quarters. Yes, the strategy of burning your weak cards early is a good strategy, but the strategy is only needed if you don't have stronger cards to fill those slots. Commons in the +2 rounds of the boss card are equally as valuable as legendary pros and Star RC cards.

The RTTC is in no way comparable to intricacies of chess, and they are not helping you get a W because they win 0 quarters. it depends what which economy you're talking about. the AH economy (for players) is harsh, but the real cash economy for CD is thriving.

when you can't sell anything in AH and you want to buy a card what are your options? slowly collect during daily pick 3, win seasons, or... buy credits with real cash.

I was talking in terms of "our" economy, but I actually think cd is hurting themselves by keeping prices too high. Sometimes less is more.. Charge less and people spend more.


It's not like anyone has a maxed out lineup of the 25 best cards there are and no one will (that's a challenge to a couple of you lol). Even if 100 players did, it wouldn't make it any less fun for them since they constantly add new content or the other 100k+ players. If they charged less for credits than they do, I'd probably be far more inclined to put some real money into the game, as I know others would too. But since $20 can't even get me one of the top 150 cards in the game (PO, Star) unless I grind out an event, I don't see any reason to throw money into the game. Mini-rant, but I really think CD would make far more money if they gave a little more for what they charge right now.

Agree with this as well. Credits are way overpriced like literally what world are they living in where they believe those credits are a fair price?

Because it is...... It literally wins 0% of the time. The only thing I can think of is that they may give your team a boost with their abilities. That's really the only thing separating them from commons in terms of RTTC.

I have no doubt they're making a great profit off this game... But they could be turning an even higher one if they'd realize their errors. My comment was more in regards to AH though, since it's just completely f'd
