Has your season started yet? I started searching 12 minutes ago, and may end up in your season. I have won my past two seasons in a row, but I have not improved much since then because I am being very picky with the playoff cards I choose to pro because my AH luck is not as good as it used to be. Therefore, I am probably losing my competitive edge.

I hate to sound like the AH police, but with the multiple threads we have on AH regarding trades, sales, buyers, PO cards only, etc....I really wish some people would have the decency to post in the right thread.

It's already hard enough to sell cards as it is, and it sure doesn't help if someone spams every single AH thread whether it's related to their cause or not.

If I may so bold as to advise ...

Bird is one of the best regular PO cards in the game ... 2nd best only 21 points behind LeBron and 7 points ahead of Davis. He also has better offense than Kobe and has 2 stats you can enhance to be competitive (PM and ATH, with ATH being the better choice, imo).

Kobe, on the other hand, is more popular, especially with the younger players. With no disrespect intended, I doubt that the vast majority of the people who play this app actually ever watched Larry Bird play. Some didn't even watch Scottie, Rodman, Harper, the GOAT and {Insert token big man} pull off the 2nd 3-peat.

So you should be able to sell Kobe and if you are patient and careful, get yourself a Bird pro.

You could probably also sell Blake Griffin, as he's fairly popular.

So why would I recommend that approach?

Well ... Avery Bradley is a very good SG ... basically a poor man's Jimmy Butler, only 19 def points behind, but way less valued. You can probably get two Bradley cards at very steep discount ... probably just from the proceeds of selling Griffin, for example.

Then there's Jason Kidd. I've got one laying around I'll give you if you just pay the taxes, and I'm sure someone else will be willing to part with him and give a huge buyback.

At this point ... you need PO Pros as fast as possible so you can start getting regular Playoff cards from seasons, from resets, from RC (if you play it) and from RttC. You will go from where you are now to a truck very fast if you aren't super picky about players.

Once you have a steady stream of PO players going, even if you are only selling them for like 2.5-3k profit by offering buybacks, then you can pick out the guys you want, or {what I am doing} snag POTG packs and start working on dupes for the best cards in the game.

This gives me confidence that my 3 slot Star Magic, MVP Dirk and PO Randolph will sell.

Those used to be automatic sells. Now, you have to be lucky that you put it up at the right time for somebody that is looking for one. Now that I have the credits, I'm thinking about tanking in the first round of my season and duping that MVP with bb.

Just had 2 people trying to do trades with me wanting me to buy first. Sorry i dont do that unless i know you. I have 16 PO pros so it wont benefit me and I am not gonna get scammed out of my hard earned credits.

I haven't had a po season where I didn't make the finals, in fact I've only lost in the finals once.... Even this first season after I sold my po pros I still clearly have the best team... Am I just lucky or?

No, that's what 100,000 credits before PO release does for you. Get a jump start on everyone else by a mile. And I don't know if that was a sarcastic question you were asking haha.
