Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Well I'm only 16 atm but I have been looking into coaching.... I'm pretty good at basketball but nowhere near talented enough to go very far (I know, not very confident, but sometimes you just gotta accept the facts). I play PG and have always been good at controlling the floor, reading defenses, etc...Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Just let me know when to post up the Kyrie Lakerking.
As far as the difficulty bump goes ... I'm thinking it's much ado about nothing. They raised the mean by making the weakest cards in the POTG deck fully trained single POTG, but Star Pros can beat them if you play to the matchups. I just went through 4 consecutive games where I lost only four matchups.
I mean... it helps a lot to have Playoff level cards add their team procs and to have good playoff level supports. For example, Rebounding is involved in a statistically anomalous amount of the 2v2 matchups (it's at least 4 standard deviations away from the norm), so PO Halftime Show is a ridiculously good support card for RttC.
But as far as the +2 deck goes, I have yet to see a 2v2 match up that would beat a PO Pro + Star Pro combination, so you can easily win the +2 matchups with 5 PO Pros and 5 Star Pros.
Then you need to only win two other 1v1 matchups to force a tie and get the win points. Some mixture of Star Pros, POTG singles, RC Singles, MVP Pros, etc... should do that very reliably.QG Tier: Legendary++
Season Tier: Epic
MVP: Legendary Pro MVP Curry
Lineup:
PG: Foil Legendary Pro MVP Stephen Curry
SG: Foil Epic Pro George Gervin
SF: Foil Legendary Pro LeBron James
PF: Foil Epic Pro Larry Johnson
C : Foil Epic Pro Robert ParishComment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
He's actually a good card to train part way as your 3rd card for a 3/2 setup for RC and keep yourself in playoff tier so you don't have to choose between winning +5/10 OR getting your Playoff reset.
I also happen to have a 1 slot one from a couple seasons back just taking up space in my deck. You're welcome to him with a significant buyback ... if having a PO Pro that doesn't top out very high but DOES help in RC is something that you need.QG Tier: Legendary++

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Believe it or not but I actually came up with a basketball play, lol. (Your best scorer at the top of the key, your best long-range shooters at the baselines and your two Bigs in the paint. The "top of the key player" will elevate and if he misses your big will get the rebound and kick it to one of the "baseline players" and if he misses and your big gets the rebound again, just dunk or lay it in. Not the greatest play but it's efficient.Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Essentially what they did was take out low end Star Pro level cards and put in trained Greats (which are slightly below MVP Pros usually). The upped the mean, but they also removed the truck cards ... the +2 deck doesn't have any single card that can beat a PO Pro anymore, whereas before it had like 6 or 7 of them that you had to account for.
The average remains the same, but they brought the outliers in, making the PO and POTG cards much more about strategy than they were before.
I now have to re-write like half my guide because of it ... but it's probably a good change. The wild variance that existed before was problematic.
Also, there are some strange anomalies like the one I mentioned earlier.QG Tier: Legendary++

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Hey, so this kind of a noob question - how many pro POs would I need to get into Playoff++ in quick games? I've got a Brook Lopez trained halfway and all the rest are regular star pros, and I'm thinking of Pro-ing at least one more PO. Thanks!IGN: nico
