In Phoenix he played the point.

But like you said, he played SG for GS, so why would his position be PG on his card for this year? Plus he's always been a combo guard, so they should have just made him dual position.

Maybe he doesnt deserve 20m now, but all these years he was seriously underpaid, and helped the team be competitive by having a Superstar, one of the 10 best players in the league, with a very reasonable price.

Every free agent is linked to the Lakers every year, but they haven't signed anybody decent in years. Kobe can play PG on offense, but he'd have another season ending injury facing PGs on defense.

Kobe can play PG... But he can't be a full time pg. this is no longer 2005 any more. He needs to just relax and play casually for one season and retire imo. His knees can handle it any more
