I didnt say all cards would sell. I was commenting on people who were complaining about their cards not selling, 15 minutes after they posted them. Like they were expecting everyone would BIN their cards.

I sold 2 POs without buyback deals. I am selling the rest with bb, but i 've already turned down more than 5 potential buyers because they were being ridiculous (not all of them), with their demands.

I dont want to engage in a full AH discussion, but as much as we "bitch" about it (me included), it has helped all of us, immensely. It's not perfect, but just think if it wasnt there.

P.S. I actually agree with NWGD on this, if there were no minimums, everyone within a week would have 15 PO Pros.

Oh, I agree totally an AH at all made the game that much better, and helped me improve my LU. But I bought like one card at normal price, everything was done via trades or BB. CD needs to change things about the AH, and I hope they are more receptive to that in the next app, and we can chalk up this years iteration to the AH as a prolonged experiment. But with their track record I have little faith.

Cards don't sell, what do you expect?

You told me Bogut would sell, then I see you're offering BB to.

It's just the way things are for free players, credits are hard to come by, gotta either open up the check book or sell players for super cheap. The latter is much easier. I laugh at all the people who complain people offer BB, when it all stems from CD's constant mistakes in the economic set up of the AH. 5 different level of star cards all at the same price mins/maxs. Now a new tier of PO cards. It makes no sense how they set things up.

No one would be complaining if there was no minimum and you just started auctions at 500 credits and let the market dictate the price. I bet if the setup was like that cards would go for more than what the high BB offers are. Sure people would look to dump cards of cheap for like 700 credits at BIN, but those cards would get sniped up.

It's how the MT auction house on the PS4 works and its perfect. No minimums, no limits on how many cards you can post, no excessive tax, no posting fee, it's pretty refreshing.

The problem are the players. Every player treat their cards different.

Correct me if Im wrong. Just saw a forummember training away RTTC Festus Ezeli meanwhile there are players/members that dont even make it to Festus Ezeli.

Unless everybody is treating their cards the same way we will see these kinds of things happen.

You gotta understand that their goal is not for you to sell or buy cards cheap and easy. It's a video game, it needs a certain degree of difficulty. If there were no minimums, the game would be dead in a week. EVERYONE would have 15 PO Pros.

I know it's frustrating having 10 cards that you dont use and cant sell, but that's part of the game too.

Cards have different value to different users, just the nature of the beast I guess. I trained away some single RC stars and Pro legendaries because they didn't help my LU, but I never trained away a Star Pro because they still helped my LU, other users trained spros into PO cards, etc. Maybe if spros sold, on the AH those people would have kept them and put them on the block ,or even quick sold them?

Guess it's all relative.

So my RttC will end at Lee. Can't win +2's for him. I'm satisfied with the 3 cards I did get tho. Gonna relax and enjoy the rest of my weekend. Hope everyone reaches their goal for RttC.

I think their ultimate goal is to get people to pay to play. Which is fine, like I've said before I don't hold that against them. But users on here have offered solid suggestions on how to improve the game to convert free players into paying players.

I was a totally free player. There was 0% chance I would invest any $ into the game with the way it is now (though I came close a few times).

In fact, their decisions drove me to quit playing the game and just using it to gain credits to trade for MT to use for their companion game which has a much better (in my opinion) mode and much better AH. In fact, I plan on spending some money on the 2k16 version of the console my team.

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that the introduction of AH required them to change too many things to try and balance out their past rewards, and it was just too much to do within the span of this app's lifetime.

For me 2k15 has the good, the bad, and the ugly. The good- RTTC and the introduction of the AH. The bad- the set up and execution of the AH. The Ugly- refusing to adjust the AH prices after introducing new tiers within tiers.

It can be frustrating, but the key to the AH is figuring out which cards sell, and then persevering. My history is loaded with timeouts, but even if I list a Star 20 times before it sells, that's 400 credits lost to a 3500 gain, averaging out. Buybacks might lead to a quicker gain, but those can dry up just as quick. I'll never be able to compete with the whales, but I am still taking +5's on Livingston, and hope to maybe be able to nab Draymond. At the end of the day, if the game isn't working for you, evaluate what you're doing and could change to make it more enjoyable for you.

Congrats man. You have a nice lineup there.

For me, the fact that a card from the 2nd highest tier would need to be listed multiple times to sell shows a flaw in the AH (from the player perspective) but obviously CD is trying to gain money. That's why min bids are in place. You take away min bids and keep min BINs and you would have a more active AH (and would also remove the silly buyback premise). Problem with that is there would be more credits in circulation but then that would take away from credits and packs being purchased (via credit card) and thus taking away a big source of their revenue.

That's the only thing that makes sense to me in terms of why they haven't made tweaks to AH to foster more sales.
