Some posters on the FB group page were making good points about the rating system too...

Doc Rivers, known mainly for his defense in his prime, has jacked up stats for all 4 categories, good enough for best Rare in the entire game. Come again?

"Mid Season" Andre Miller (Wizards) was released and now holds the title of second best Rare in the game (tied with Jason Kidd). Excuse me??

J.J Hickson (both old and new version) - best rare Center in the game. Wtf??? Isnt this guy gonna lose his job to Timofey Mozgov? lol

Dennis Rodman (gold) - his best skill about him is his 962 ball handling. OK I absolutely give up. (I know, old version, but they're allowing us to keep it)

Bad part is, these examples are just the tip of the iceberg when you actually think for more than 2 seconds about these player ratings on the front of cards.

I've pointed out MKG's offense as one example of this. Rodman was an error that NWGD is letting people keep. He actually explained in a post why Rodman's ball control is as high as it is in the "proper" version. But yes, the system is a bit screwy.

It solely depends on how high you want to go and how many credits you have. It is completely reasonable to get the legendary without buying any hot streaks unless you are severely strapped for time. If you want to do the 1-125 range, you probably need hot streaks and lots of them.

I'll have 7550 before rivals but I'll be strapped for time with titanfall coming out and I realistically have a chance at top 1000

I try to give this game the benefit of the doubt and just chalk up potential reasons for the screwy ratings...like the reason Epic Tim Duncan is a bottom 50% PF in the game is cause it's taking into account 2014, old man Timmy.

But that quickly gets debunked when you realize 2014 Ray Allen is a top shelf SG in this game, according to stats. I know people probably wouldn't be in favor of radical change, but I wouldn't mind if CD did a complete overhaul in EVERY player rating in this game.

Would love to have NWGD confirm whether it now starts at 1 am PST or not because that would also affect the end time to 7 pm PST which wouldnt be good seeing as i made plans after 6.

Assuming you mean top 1000 and not top 100, you're likely fine to spend it on epic packs. I'm also tanking a lot of this event because of Titanfall. SO EXCITED!

Now I'm slowly realizing why some posters on here were calling this game "low budget" before.

Sure seems like it was put together desultorily at first, and once they realized they could make bank on it, they began attempts to rectify parts of the game.
Unfortunately, that's way too much work and with this much of the NBA season already in the books, myteam2k15 will already be in production for this game to truly reach it's potential. Just my two cents

Yea I think I'll play more Titanfall tomorrow than play >, <, or = with this game in Rivals (over and over and over and over). Good call, at least it's more mental stimulation and not as repetitive (i hope). lol

I think it's because of day light's savings kicking in.

It baffles me how CD could think they could compete with Titanfall release tomorrow (even with their marquee Rivals matchup they could offer - Jordan/Lebron). Seems like a miscalculation on their part....or maybe their data suggests this game is falling off and the whales aren't spending as much?

I know a bunch of high profile members from this forum have already announced their retirement or near retirement.....you guys think throwing us a Jordan Rivals now is a desperation move on their part?

All this really doesn't bode well for the long term plans of this game. Next thing you know, they'll do Rivals every 3 weeks just so people start "craving" it more....and to mask the fact that it's incredibly repetitive before people start to wisen up that "all rivals and no real life, makes me a dull boy."

Has anyone gotten anything useful in the draft kately?
Been playing for three hours straight and haven't drafted even a rare card.
Only energy cards in the last 3 hours. Strange that.
