Sheesh, some of you people are really overreacting. It was YOUR choice to spend money on this game and it was YOUR choice to grind so much on this game. I haven't spent a dime on this game, or the last one and I had a great time both years. It's just a fun app to play. Even if you don't agree with some of their decisions, CD still made a good app because it got A LOT of people addicted to it. It's all YOUR choice how you want to experience the app.

Well yeah, games are supposed to be fun. This game by itself isnt anything special, but combined with this community, it is amazingly fun. And i am not gonna judge people who spend money. After all, when we bought our consoles, we did spend money, right? When we bought NBA2k15 or any other game, we did spend money.

And it doesnt matter that these cards will disappear next year. So what? I did spend 60€ to buy NBA2k12, NBA2k13, NBA2k14 for my PS3, and right now they're collecting dust somewhere back home...

if I had a chance to collect basketball cards but had to delete the app from my phone and droid4x from my computer I'd definitely do it even though this community is great. that's something I'd pay for but I never paid for the game but still, I love collecting them. maybe if I can't get a nextgen console this year I'll just buy a box of 90/91 Skybox.

This is what I'm most proud of myself... Never gave cd a single cent ever. Even including 2k14... And I haven't spent a lot of time for the past 4 months.

And that's the thing. A good amount of people consider this to be a pay to win game, but you really don't need actual money. Working the basic features of the game and little luck (AH, season rewards, dupes from drafting), you can still have a very good team. All of the events are optional and of course they won't be beneficial to you if you already paid your way to an all greats and playoff pro lineup.

Can't say I've been a completely free player. I bought a couple packs in the beginning because I was new and dumb, but haven't spent any money since AH came out (minus some HS during the Vince RC to stay under top 80 ). When I decide to hang it up tho, I'll be able to look at my progression through the game and be proud of what I accomplished. Becoming a 100% free player next app and learning from my mistakes.

Exactly. That's what a game is all about imo. I still remember how excited I was when I first got my RC bird... I still have screenshots of almost every RC reward+star/po resets. That's what a game is all about, you progress through it. From getting excited about a rare card to being bummed about a star card. Nowadays I see so many people with less than 10k games played but already got many greats pros... What's fun about that? Yeah you can beat almost everyone with a 3/2 but what's fun about it? After 3 months you'll be like sh*t I wasted my money....

A pack of cards runs for 15 USD for 8 cards. Yes they are paper or cardboard and you can put them in a sleeve, but they arent as common as they used to be. This games puts those cards and lets you use RPG elements to upgrade them and enhance them and battle other players decks. Take it for what you want, but i like it.

I remember when i got my UR Pro Jordan from ladder rewards and i was like "wow i am gonna dominate the game now!" , coz it was my best card at the time, by far.

Guys these days have 3-4 PO Pros before getting an UR MJ...
