NWGameDad, I immensely appreciate you taking the time to directly update all of the gamers in this thread.
It almost seems ridiculous to have to say it, but games are made for gamers. Alot of times I feel like this isn't obvious today.
I personally am one that hates the pay-to-win aspect of gaming today. It is bleeding over from mobile gaming into console and PC gaming, and it makes me sick. Certain kinds of games should be a "reasonable grind". By reasonable I mean getting to the "end-game" should take 100-200 hours of gameplay. I think MyTEAM mobile is one of the types of games that should be a reasonable grind. I am very disappointed by the decision to add direct purchase of an epic to legendary level card.
Epic and legendary cards are the "endgame" of this game. I understand allowing purchases to speed up the process of reaching the endgame, but I cannot understand the decision (from a gamers perspective) toallow people to skip ahead directly to the endgame by simply paying lots of money to buy epics and legendaries. I understand that's alot of money and that's the main driver of this decision; but to be frank with you this is an example of exactly everything that is wrong with the direction of "games for gamers" in today's gaming world.
You guys have made a great and very fun game, and I don't mean to be critical. I just wanted to give you some perspective from a gamer who is increasingly frustrated by fun games that are ruined by microtransactions.Go Colts, Go Irish!!

- The Google update is indeed out. Sorry for the delay. If you're seeing crashes, please send us a report from in game if you can via the Feedback button located on the Options menu ("gear" from the Home screen). That will send us some data we need to try and replicate the problem. We suspect that the crash is actually related to the Ray Allen issue. If you played a Quick Game vs. someone with a Ray Allen when the card popped up in game it would probably crash you. Which leads to...
- We posted a fix for the Ray Allen problem. You will need to go to the Home screen twice just once. That will initiate a download that permanently fixes Ray Allen.

This is silly. None of these addressed issues are real factors into the longevity and health of this game. We're all here because we want the game to succeed, and you're effectively killing the long term sustainability for the sake of short term profits. Legendaries should NOT be given in packs. As another user already pointed out, these cards are the endgame content and what were all chasing. If they can easily be obtained then people will get bored and not care about new events or modes or anything else if there's no rewards worth chasing.
The fix is simple: keep the new epic card packs but do not allow legendaries to be purchasable from it. They should be our 'carrot on a stick' and what were chasing by actually playing the game. I've played a multitude of games and this is how games and communities die easily; the easy access of the best endgame content.
I already bought some of the epic packs and got a legendary Rose and Ewing. Obviously not earned and I've lost all interest in even grinding draft picks anymore. These should not be given in purchasable packs anymore or many others will quickly lose interest as well.

This game needs a 1 year life till the next one ( hopefully).
The catalogue is enough big for us to last 1 year without buying anything.
But maybe another system of draft will attract more people.
Like every 500 picks you get an epic, it can be after 2 but max 500 and 1000 picks a legendary. Knowing that everytime you pick it it restart from 0 so no need to wait another 498 picks in my exemple.
At least we still play for something and we have a chance to achieve that catalogue. Otherwise i don't see how it will be possible by picking 1 epic every 10k picks in my case.Comment

i really like the idea of a garunteed epic after a # of picks.
id say every 1000 picks garunteed epic with it reseting if you pick one before the 1000...do not make a countdown for legendaries just keep that randomComment

God. I spent $35 on the game before epic packs were out. I don't know if I'm happy I didn't buy the epic packs or not. If i bought the epic packs, I maybe wouldn't play the game as much. But seeing other teams with Legendary Larry Bird or Epic Pros, man. It's not fair.Comment
