I know, but the majority of people in even the top 125 have 3k+ stats, and if they don't they are well on their way banging out 2-10k games in 6 days.

So until the season mode is more competitive, its a crap shoot.

This coming from someone with 3.5k+ stats who still gets run over by trucks haha

With a 3,2k+ stats i've never managed to win a season, hope you're right about the new competitivity of this mode.

3 epics first day, 0 yesterday.
Oh CatDaddy why do you hate me so much?
Got a busy day today with a midterm and a project so well see how far I drop.
Currently 23, hoping for at least still top 50 by tonight.

I guess, they are on their way. But as of now, I'm barely above 2k+ stats and even with these new rewards from rivals I'll still have a 'weak' team assuming I can hold my current position. Still a long way to go.

I'm just grabbing numbers out of thin air, and top 50 may be 3k+ where top 125 is 2k. But i said majority to cover my bases since there are exceptions. I guess my main point is the people with that high of decks are improving their stats too, some more than others.

I personally am just shooting for a robinson, and if i can pull it off with the leg support. While trying to keep 125 as a stretch goal. But at no point will i see having 10 hours + a day to put into one of these. Much less the 3-4 I'm pulling off now.

Grrrrr , sucks when 4 games into season you already know it's a lost cause , oh well 78 hours to the next one , I'm surprised the guy wit 3200 stats says he never won a season , am at 2500 and have won 4 out of about 20

So I had gotten a second jason kidd and batum last night, and while grinding to train them I got a second Manu Ginobli epic. So finally after 20000 picks and 17 epics, I have an epic pro.

I managed to get from about 3000 to 1000 in the event. I'm not sure if I will be able to get up to 500.... I got a beta test invite this weekend for a different game.

Question regarding lineups and the 5 point difficulty level.

Right now I run out a lineup of (all maxed pros) Ray Allen, Ollie Porter, Larry Sanders, Victor Oladipo, and Greivis Vasquez. This lineup steamrolls quick games and 3 pt games for me, but 4 out of 5 times when I attempt a 5 point game I get demolished and it's not even a contest. Even in the 3 pt games every now and then a team totally crushes me with 5 epics/max pros. I've heard of the 3 good card 2 common card strat but I haven't been able to use it effectively. Could be that the strong cards that I'm using aren't right? Does this start work when you guys use it in 5 pt games? What sort of strong cards do you use in it? Any other strats that you guys use effectively?

My card options are:

Legendaries
Dominique Wilkins

Epic Pros
Rudy Gay
Joe Johnson

Epics
Danny Manning
Al Horford
Kobe Bryant
Caron Butler
Willis Reed

And a whole ton of Rare Pros and Rares.

I'm currently sitting around 1300 after making a big push from 4000 yesterday and I'm considering going for a Legendary, though I'd be totally content with that Pro Duncan.

Does anyone know how many pts places 1800-2000 are about, that's the only reward that bugs me a bit , I think it's a little too generous ,don't think it takes more than 20 min a day to place 1999 , where as 501 is probably playing 1hr and half an ends up wit some epic pro, think epic pro for that range is too much

Congrats! Finally!

No kidding!

For this event, and honestly long term, I am wondering if it's actually better for me to just get the epic pro duncan. epic pro's are slightly better than regular legendaries, right? And trying to grind way up to legendary pro will just leave me with one legend pro, one epic pro, and a bunch of rares, which isn't really all that helpful.

I'm not likely to ever get a second legendary just randomly, so I really think the best choice for me is to aim for the epic pro.
