Anybody else get upset when you pull a rare instead of a hot streak?

Yeah, rares are super useless for me now, and I haven't pulled anything above rare at all this event. I wish I could designate all cards rare and below to be automatically trashed so I don't need to spend time leveling/wasting them.

In the range I'm at it doesn't seem like long before someone is hot on your heels.

Depends What rank you are right now? And where you plan to land.
It can be risky buying hot streaks early and falling short of expectations in the end (let's say top 25 and you land 26th). There are people like me ready to start using hot streaks just to remain in the top 25 so know your competition first. Take snap shots of the leader boards, if they gain more than 500 pts per hour you know they're using hot streaks. Easier to track now since people can no longer hoard Them.

From the last rivals event, I followed the 21-25 positions the last 2 days. They started gaining more than 500 pts per hour the last morning of the event (Saturday) around 10 hrs before deadline...so unless they saved 1000 got streaks, they definitely were buying. I felt bad for the 21st spot (name was ghostsoul80). He almost sneaked it coming from above 25th spot. But fell short when Fabio (disca) woke up. Ghostsoul80 stopped playing with 2 hours remaining. Question is did fabio start using them hot streaks in those last few hours? He's here in the forum somewhere. :-)

Anyway, I don't see ghostsoul80 In the top 50. May have been crushed from the last event after spending them hot streaks. I hope he at least got a legend from his epic pack. :-)

i was on a roll for these two days lol manage to keep a spot in top 50 and was at 29 this morning but college got in the way once more with homework and test today but at least im still at # 47 but got one more class lol might skip it and go home since i dont learn nothing in there anyways.



So people that is passing me better be happy cause in approximately t-1 hour i am coming back to earn my spot in top 25

Made it to 350 last night before going to bed, woke up around 470. I was actually pretty happy with that.

It's actually fun observing the leader boards. It's competition for sure. I do hope 90% of people who make top 50 are from this forum. :-)

I understand. I'm going to save several of mine and just play it out the next day or so. I just want to keep myself from any kind of a drop when I sleep. I just want within that top 50 otherwise I'll drop down to where its just the legend card.

I know NW said the reset card is random , but that is very hard to believe , too many times it's the last card , or last 3 or 4 cards , and I've tried clearing top to bottom for 50 clears , it's one on the bottom row, 70% of time, so I clear next 50 bottom to top , guess what , it's always one of last 5 on top , then you get a quick 3 or 4 board clears within first 10 cards , same pattern.
Can't be random that everyone here is unlucky and just doesn't pick the reset card until last 3 cards 70% of time. Any thoughts?

Jup, there is no way it is random, it happens way too much.

Also try picking a row when new board appears and don't select a card on that row , amazingly you will be right most of the time if you don't take a card from that row

More than I used to now that NWGD has explained how the drops work. Knowing that it passed the first test of not being the special card (hot streak/energy) and then failed the roll to make it to Epic/Legendary kinda sucks.

I remember the good old days when I was stoked about getting a rare.

Board seem pretty random to me. Some reset cards first 5 picks, some mid, some last 5 picks. Of course it won't be random if this is the same for all people. :-)
