[QUOTE=Twista209;2046021652]Agreed, but since LeBron is this year's 2K14 cover athlete he will be rated the best, unfortunately.

In my opinion James is a better overall player than Bryant, period. maybe even from Jordan, but he is not as good scorer as they were in their prime. But right now is far better than Bryant. Will have to discuss again when Jame's carrer over and then see who is better player...

Firstly, both the LeBron and Jordan Rivals cards will probably be the best in the game that we will ever see. Secondly, take into consideration the new LeBron Legendary card which has amazing stats. Now take into consideration the 2 Jordan Legendary cards and look how low some of his stats are. It would only make sense for everyone to side with the Bulls to get that Ultimate Jordan card because we will all still have time to get the new LeBron Legendary card that will be fairly close to the stats of the Rivals LeBron, (an assumption of course) So just a little something to think about.
Unfortunately the support cards are trash and will not even be used by many.
Good logic, but unfortunately I don't think even if the entire forums sided with the Bulls will it make a difference in the outcome. The last rivals mode results were what, 5 million wins vs. 3 million wins? And those are wins, right? Not points. So even if each of us got 4000 wins (unlikely since that makes you finish in the top 50), it would take 500 of us to make up that 2 million win difference. I don't think there are 500 of us in this thread. Right now there are 62 members reading, which counts 40 guests.

I think the difference is going to be with casual players, who play and get 100 wins or 200 wins and don't really do much reading on the forums. Tons of those players out there and those are what will swing the Bulls vs. Heat matchup.

Now the question remains, are there more Michael Jordan casual fans from the 90s, or more LeBron James casual fans from today?

I think it'll be a pretty close matchup.

I agree lebron gets hated for playing the game well. Lebron is a team player he takes pay cuts while Kobe is taking 30M a year lebron takes 16 Hes a freak he has talent and he excels at every feature of the game. Shooting is one angle of the game. He a better defender and leader then kobe and jordan. I dont try to argue whos best. Lebron is the best I have seen play though.

I still firmly believe the calculated wins are based on the bots playing, LOL! J/K. Anyway, what ever team we all decided to go with on these forums has been the victor both times and by a land slide. LeBron will no doubt go into the Hall of Fame and be one of the best that ever played but I do not see him catching or passing MJ's accomplishments.

I think the forums are solidly on the Bulls this time, right? I have a feeling that casuals will be siding with the Heat this time, so it'll be a great chance to test this hypothesis.

                  People hate on lebron because:
-Flop( get away with it ALL the time)
-have to join two superstars to win rings ( kobe, MJ and etc ATTRACT stars)- great leader? Joke. Leader dont JOIN other leaders. they attract others to join them
-Untouchable status(you touch him and get a foul call)
-Told CAVs he was staying and left them without any back up plans.
                  -Soft D league.

I can continue. I seen prime Kobe played and the D on him was way more aggressive than D on Lebron. Stats are not that accurate.

Leaders dont try to create a dynasty? That is why all the stars now are doing it (Melo, Kobe, Noah, Stoudemire) and thats all stars LJ creates contact flopping is a art melo does it just as much. And taking a pay cut is leadership. Kobe never took a cut. Lebron does and had a bunch of other good players come play. Wade bosh cole chalmers allen and anderson are ALL worth 2x what there pay is. Hes setting a trend.

Look, i agree that the D is "softer" nowdays BUT, Kobe has Shaq, young Fisher, Horry and then Gasol, Odom, Bynum, Artest so he wasnt alone.
And the same goes for MJ, Pippen Cartwright, Paxson, Grand and from 95-98 Rodman, Kerr, Kukoc, Longley and Harper.

Lebron has Wade and Bosh (Good but not Great) and a bunch of veterans...He is by far the best player in the world now so....

I was just shaking my head and face palming when I was reading this. The funniest thing I read here was: he is a better defender and LEADER than Jordan and Kobe. Now let me sit down and think about that. LeBron abandons his team to go to a different team for championships. Great leadership. Did LeBron teach any of his teammates like how Jordan taught Scottie, making him a Hall of Famer? Did LeBron bring his cavs team to any championships? Nope. Kobe brought his Lakers to a repeat championship in '09 and '10. Kobe is known for his elite perimeter defending and him being a pest on defense. Same with Jordan, and Jordan was not only a pest but he stole the ball a lot too. If LeBron was a team player Wade wouldn't be averaging only 20 points per game while he should be averaging 28 points. Before LeBron came Wade was always compared with Kobe, who being better. Now he is LeBron's sidekick. In the closing seconds of game 6 of the finals, LeBron took 3 3s in a row and missed them all, and sadly Ray Allen got it and scored the 3 to bring it to OT. If he was a team player he would've passed it to Ray first. But he wanted to get the spotlight. Done ranting. Back to the game. I really hope Bulls win this one.

id like to weigh in on this conversation. i know we need to get off this topic but whatever.

i agree with all you that lebron flops. but that doesnt make him a worse player.

lebron undeniably is extremely talented. he has improved his shot so much over the past couple of years. he is one of the best finishers at the rim in the nba right now and probably all time.

his versatility is what make him so good; on offence and defence. on offence he can score in so many different ways; not as good as kobe was, but still amazing in his own right. His defence is incredible he is probably the only player ever to be able to guard all 5 positions. he has the body to do also 6 foot 8, 265.

and last, but not least he is so quick and agile.

right now in my mind he is in the top five of all time. i think he will be top 2 by the end of his career. right now kobe is maybe ahead of him

sagg: lebron took 3 3's in the finals he sank one to even get it into reach for allen to make the game tying shot.

also i think jordan and kobe were both better perimeter defenders just not outside of that.

To me the difference between Kobe and LeBron, is their mentality. Kobe is known as a cold blooded killer and he wants to win more than anyone.
LeBron is more easygoing. Simple as that. A snake vs a cow.

in terms of leadership i have to agree with sagg. were talking about the two most passionate people about the game of all time. those guys all they wanted to do was win. they never let there team down even if they were down by 20. that was one of the things that made them so great.

lebron in his own right is a great leader. a different leader at that though
