This is exactly right. Unless you grind at least 6 hours a day you're not even getting the rivals card (125+), let alone the top 25. Even with hot streaks, that's 3 hours a day playing over 6 days. Anyone with a family and kids isn't going to have this much time. Rivals is definitely FOR grinders.

And that's why they have hot streaks, so people with jobs, families and other obligations can be competitive. But the problem comes from when you HAVE to use hot streaks in order to win, which is kind of where it's getting with the top 10 and to a lesser extent top 25, unless you have 12 hours a day to spend grinding, which is honestly ridiculous if you have a job or any other kind of obligations.

So what's the solution? I still maintain point caps are the solution. Cap the top tier at a reasonable amount, maybe 4-6 hours a day of playing (without hot streaks), and people who do want buy hot streaks can pay and get it done within 2-3 hours.

I have a wife, daughter, and am a full time student. Yet i consistently finish at the top without buying hot streaks at the expense of 10 hours a day of playing. My wife doesnt mind luckily but it can be done.

I agree with you for the most part but there is no way tiers will be implemented. They make the most money fostered through last minute hot streak buying of people on the bubble. Their profits would die if you just had to reach a threshold.

What ranks are you all at? I'm at rank 2,466. But man, they are killing me for that Dennis Rodman Pro. Gotta write an essay and manage to stay in the 1251-2500 zone.

Ah, damn. Was just trying to coast my way to a top 250 spot these past couple of days (gave up on trying for Jordan on Friday, when I was like 170). Woke up earlier to find I only dropped to like 230 or so, played for a couple hours, went to the store to get Titanfall (for later), and see I'm just barely hanging on now.

Guess I have to grind some more now...

Guys I'm gonna buy some team packs later, and I'm choosing between the Celtics and the Jazz. There are 7 epics in the celtics and I have 4 of them.
There are 2 epics in the jazz. Which would give me a bigger chance of an epic pro?
