spent the 300 credits and got (reggie Jackson, sefalosha, and perkins) had an extra 100 credit lying around so bought another team pack and got another perkins.. lol westbrook next?

I one time bought something like 15-20 Thunder packs and got nothing needing Ibaka or Westbrook. Never willing to buy team packs again. A sale on them would probably be a good idea though. Then I'd be willing to buy some.

So when I actually have enough cr saved would it be better to just buy an epic pack or try to buy team packs of epics I already have and hope for a dup

Negative, if you are a top player in RC, then your whole week is pretty much nonexistent. I know because I placed 48th in the Jordan event, and I had to sacrifice my whole week just to get position and protect it. My 2 cents, this is a equal reward, everyone was effected. Too many people are spoiled here, just accept your free team packs or hot streaks.

My whole week was pretty much non existent. Still had to play a lot of hours and on top of that continually wait around every few minutes to check if the maintenance was finished. It lasted hours in most cases while many, especially the west coast of the US, slept. It added up to a 10 hrs. of time I was unable to play when I normally would be grinding. I'm happy to get the credits but it was a bit of a let down because as I said before I got the same reward as someone who played 1 game. I have to ask how many hours of downtime did you experience? I think you would feel different if you had as much downtime as I had.

P.S. I was 28th in the Jordan event so I know what it was like that whole week.

The thing people seem to be ignoring though is that the server outages didn't just affect YOU.

It's easy to say "I lost 6 hours" and had to A) make up for it another time you weren't planning on having to spend or B) fell in position and never recovered.

The reality though is that WE lost those hours. It's silly to think you had to grind harder on Sunday because of this, and be definitive in knowing you wouldn't have had to do so otherwise.

Had it not been for the outages, all the numbers would have been higher, and you would've had to grind anyway. Maybe not quite as much.. maybe more.. who knows? What I can say for certain though, is whatever numbers represented the cutoffs for the various prizes, would have been higher without the outages.

And while I'm here, 2 suggestions for Season mode
1- no more cards as rewards, only credits. Obvious reward for champ is 2500...gives those with stacked decks free hot streaks during RC and everyone else incentive to not tank and ability to build toward epic packs
2- change the scheduling so you play 5 teams twice and the other 24 teams thrice. Since there are no conferences the sched should be balanced; I shouldn't be playing someone 5 times during a season, it's unfair to one of us if we are not evenly matched

Ok, fine. Yes everyone was affected. My point was some more than others. And I'm not so much annoyed that we are all getting the same reward, more the fact of what the reward is. I would have been happier if they raised the card limit or something we can actually really use. I just feel the reward was a bit of a let down.

Imagine my pain as a New Yorker my whole life, and only made enough points for Willis Reed pro. I don't know how many hours I lost, because after a while I just quit and settled for top 2000. I remember seeing post from other countries saying they lost some hours also.
