You don't know that this was the difference. That's just what you tell yourself so you have a scapegoat.

It is quite possible that it affected it... It's also quite possible that there are people that finished below you, that would have blown by you, but the server was acting up when they had the most time to play.

The point is, you don't actually know what would have happened, and CD does owe people something for taking the event out of our hands to some degree.

The idea that they owe everyone double the prize, or an automatic bump to the next prize.. it's understandable that people FEEL that way, but it kinda crumbles under even the tiniest amount of critical thinking.

I had all day to play, the only people that would've "blown by me" would be hot streakers that were already ahead of me. But I was really counting on that day because the rest of the weekend I had a commitment and wasn't hardly able to play at all. So yeah, I did get screwed over.

And the both-side reward idea would have worked perfectly. It keeps the proportionality of prizes equal; not everybody gets a great card. Your compensation corresponds to how much time you put in and, therefore, how much the maintenance affected you. It makes perfect sense. But this way, everybody gets the same prize no matter what. Somebody who got 100 points and didn't even notice the issues gets the same compensation as people like me who were furious and stressing out about it.

Plus, the 300 credits did nothing for me. I spent it on team packs (thought about hot streaks, but decided that I'm sick of trying hard in rivals and I won't bother this week) and got 1 rare that will never see the light of day on my lineup. Thanks CD

An automatic bump would create lots of issues though, I agree with you there. At least they didn't do that.

The least they could have done was give more credits based on tier. It's crap that people who earned single rares get the same compensation as people that got barely edged out of top tiers.

Not a chance, it's not balanced. First people cry that they should be compensated, then when they are, they complain its not enough. Then, they use the base argument that, " I put in more work than that guy, why we receive the same credits?" If anything, you should thank cat daddy, they "rewarded you 10 hours of your life that you would have otherwise used on "grinding".
