Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I wrote this a few pages back but it was sloppy so i guess i'll re-write it in a bit more detail (note will re-post in other forum too so if you read it there, stop reading the rest).
As some of you might know, i made a 2nd account last week to test my theory of the match making algorithm. So far here are the results and it should help anyone interested understand the match making process (tho being honest, unless you a roster still under 3000 rating, it doesn't help you much).
Anyways Details.. For my first season, i played about 200-300 games before queue'd so i could get some rares and uncommon pros. All of those players were UNTRAINED (well uncommon were fully trained before turning pro but kept @ level 0). By design my team rating was ~700-800 across the board (all 4 category) with theorical max rating ~1200-1300. I trained away all extra except the 19 (15 + 4 support) i was planning on using. Queue'd and got a season where every team was basically 500-1000 across the board. Some teams improved during the course of the season. Of course i was easily the truck due to the simple fact i had a fully untrained team going in (thus much higher max team). Add in the fact i subbed in 3 rare pros @ the end of the season (i actually played a bunch of QG during the season and managed to get 3 rare pros), it wasn't even close in the playoffs (my team was basically a 1500 team playing against only 1 team with close to 1000 rating).
Second season, again before it started, i stripped down the roster but this time FULLY TRAINED everyone, including the legendary Duncan i had as reward for winning season one. Also delete some of the rare pros i got from the season before and made sure my rating was ~1300 across the board by having 7 (yes 7) Collins in my line-up, including 2 in the backup unit. I did 7 instead of 8 because i kept 2 epics in my line-up and figure there was a chance i might duplicate one of them (and i actually did so it was a smart move but i had to delete him after the 2nd season lol). Queue this time and got a 1000-1500 season (with 1 exception who had a 300-500 team, my guess is someone trying to get a weak queue and sub in best players). Replace my Collins with 2 rare pro and epic Deng became pro = i had a 2000 rating team vs competition under 1500 and easy win again (got Morning as reward).
So 3rd season, i repeated the process kept both Duncan and Morning of course and stripped down my team (had to get rid of Deng because i wanted to keep Sanders and Young and needed to keep 1 PG/SG). Queue in @ ~1800 with BC ~1600. Note this queue was started in the middle of RC (playoff starting in a few hours). All teams except i think 3 are in the 1500-2000 range. A few broke 2000 barrier mid to late season (checking through them now, i was focus on RC that i didn't pay attention to the teams till now).
Summary - All 3 seasons, i queue'd with EXACTLY 19 cards, 15 players and 4 support. If you want all your cards to count this is how you do it and this is how you can min/max the season since its the only way your commons will contribute (unless you want to keep more commons beyond the 15, then you can have more than 15 players). In theory you can probably repeat this process and win 4 seasons/get 4 legendary (4 legendary average rating would be around 6000 out of the 8000 max rating you can have, the 4th season will be a pain tho) and thus have a 3000+ rating team within 2 weeks (less season/time if you draft good epic or duplicates that you want to keep, i.e. i had no interest in keeping Luo Deng lol).
Additional note, although i didn't get solid testing, it seems like trained vs untrained makes a difference in the match making. NW suggested that the match making takes in account what the max rating of the players can be but based on my first season, that doesn't seem to be true (cause fully trained, before subbed, my rating for my team was ~1200-1300, same as the start of my 2nd season tho different players and fully trained vs untrained). Of course since i was carrying players over instead of using fresh players each time, i didn't really test this a lot nor have much detail.
did you have all your inactives as commons? or did you also have them as uncommon pros?Comment

Maybe it's been retaining information even though you've deleted and redownloaded the app over and over. I don't have an iphone so I don't know the exact options but can you go into your apps settings and clear the cache or data for your nba2k14 app?MyNBA2K15 Info:

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I posted this in the bug thread (please folks use all of the forum), but any of you experiencing a crash after downloading the update, this is caused by a bug on iphone 4, itouch 4, and ipad 1s. We just submitted a hotfix to Apple that fixes the problem. Once Apple's done with their review we will release ASAP. Sorry for the problem!NWGameDad
