You are grouped with teams around the same skill level as your team. If their benches have great players and yours has terrible ones it means your starters are superior to theirs.

All your players stats are added (all 15 of them) and that number is your team's power. The lower the number, the lower the opposition.

I get that, but aren't you grouped by tier? So if my best lineup gets me 3/4 of the way and a common bench gets me 1/4 of the way in the same tier, wouldn't I be better off using my best lineup? The only way I could see using a common bench is if it knocked you down a tier.

I feel like not having an all common bench is asking to not make the finals, if your bar isn't just barely full with a full team, you should be running a common bench until it hits the next tier.

Okay, so it sounds like you aren't just grouped by tier, but like a subset of each tier (low-Epics are grouped, mid-Epics are grouped, etc.)

No. If you're at the beginning of a tier you're not gonna be matched up with people with the bar almost full

I know I got lucky, but I just went 80-2 and swept the finals with a relatively similar LU. Take out lebron and one of the epic pros and replace them with rc bird and a leg pro. You'd at least make quarters, I'd assume.

Oh, no I meant my LU had bird and another leg pro. You'd be fine to move up and it will be much less stressful not having to make the finals to win a leg.

You'll find it very frustrating drafting/winning more and more single legs... I always get new singles from season rewards and draft picks
