The 5 card limit is for the Beta. We don't want the servers to fall over with people posting a ton of cards on day one. Our testing and modeling shows we can handle way more than that, but the real world is always a bit different. We're being cautious for the Beta.

Just curious what came up that would prevent us from being able to list more then 5

Did NWGameDad mention anything about the length of AH listings? 12 hours is a long time to wait only for your card not to sell

who doesn't like making money as fast as possible? lol I don't mean to take jabs at you. I just believe what they are doing is right from a buisness side.

think of it this way with auction house.

No, because ultimately they are stifling opportunity and limiting sales. Instead of getting more people involved and making more money off of bulk transactions, they're trying to cash in as quickly as possible. There's a reason why games like FIFA have a 5% tax. They're clearly more forward thinking than CD. 30% tax offers zero chance at resale or earning credits outside of purchasing them or whatever little bullsh!t thing they plan to introduce into the game. Also, the fact that they earn 65% of transactions that result in duping or training (30% of the seller and 100% of the buyer since it can never be resold) is something the other games don't have.

In the end, this is just a horrible way to treat your consumers. 30% is beyond ridiculous. 20% would even be beyond ridiculous. The fact that they did a beta and said they would take feedback into consideration was promising, but the majority of the feedback said it was ridiculous and they decided to shove a big middle finger at us.

You people need to stop getting so pissed about an app. The purpose of a company is to make money. They are obviously making money, so why would they change it to benefit people who don't want to spend money. I'm a free player, but I understand what it takes to be a successful app.

There is a reason that nothing in this world has a 30% tax. AH will
Die after awhile and turn into only ppl who spend money. 30% is absolute robbery. People pay for these credits and you take 30% away when they try to sell and they vanish. I'm very disappointed in this outcome

I'm not a free player. I spend hundreds of dollars on this app. Hell, I drop at least $100 every RC. What I'm saying is that they would make MORE money if they weren't so damn greedy. There's a reason why EA, who is a much larger and smarter company than CD, only charges 5%.

I don't look at it as a 30% tax I look at it as that's 70% free credits since ure not putting any money to the game. All you need to do is grind get good cards to sell and hope you get someone to buy.

Involving free players more (again, I'm not one of them) helps to maintain an organic economy. If we knew there would be resale value, people would buy and sell to earn credits and would make sure that a natural floor would exist for all cards. Instead, we get CD dictating everything from an insane tax to a listing cost to a limit of 5 auctions to insanely high minimums. Again, very short sighted and showing they could care less about the consumer than anyone thought.
