I can't believe people are hacking other people's accounts for freaking credits in a mobile game.

This not meant as disparagement to the quality of the game, but it's not like there's any real stakes involved.

edit: Somehow missed Melcho's post. I guess I share your cynicism in general, but I tend to take things at face value. If multiple people are claiming they got hacked, then it's probably a real thing that's happening, right?

I feel no remorse for them if they have the best cards in the game with over 10000 losses fishy. Syd has the same cards as them and he only has 50 losses I think with over 50000 wins. That's what happens if u share account info someone will always screw u over

Wow I put up an epic draymond green and it sold in 5 mins.

I've noticed the Draymond cards seem to sell really well. I had a few of his sr and ur ones and they always sold pretty quick. He's become a lot more popular this year since he plays a bigger part in the Warriors' success.

I almost wish I knew how to bot/script just for the ladder rewards, I want those star Jordans before they become useless but I doubt I will ever get them

Most of us will never get the Jordan's before this game EOL's. It's a sad fact I've come to accept.

I don't even know if I'll even get the freaking LEG Jordans, as useless as they are now. I mean, 50k games? It's a feat, to be sure.

I know what you mean, the ladder rewards are another thing that is wrong with the game but they refuse to acknowledge players will never achieve them and if by chance they do they are pretty much useless, just because a select few have them already ( Sorry I don't have the ability to script/bot or have 6 people playing on my account ) doesn't mean the average player will get them. I`m 7500 games away from the first LEG Jordan but he's useless. I struggle to see how a legendary Jordan is a reward considering I should be in PlayOff tier which I reach that " reward "

Well, if those are the kind of support tickets that CD is dealing with, I see why it's taken almost a week and I still haven't heard anything about my lost 5500 credits from an auction I was bidding on of a card that just disappeared into "oblivion" when the bidding time ended.

Yeah, look, it may just be that he actually got hacked but to be honest to get hacked in this game is not an easy task. Remember, you sign in using 3rd party authentication (Google, FB, Steam etc), CD then 'sync' your account essentially, so they're not really storing any username/passwords.

So that means his 3rd party credentials would've had to have been stolen, which is a long shot because you need to know the unique email associated with them (whereas with your IGN that's easy to just grab from a screenshot you post to Twitter or whatever).

NWGD also mentioned before there is no way they would get this from CD's server's, and lets be honest. If you can get into CD's server you aren't just going to siphon creds from 1 dude, you're going to have a lot more power.

So again, my theory is he must've shared his account details and got MiTM somewhere along the way as a result.

As for my distrust, it started when i first looked into scripts/bots and concluded when i found out that certain players are either scripting or paying others to play for them (something I raised with NWGD - since the EULA clearly also states "no account impersonation"). In my mind there is no difference between botting and getting someone else to play for you (and on both counts I don't care anymore, it's CD's problem, not mine), just clarifying why I don't take things on face value.

Here's the icing on the cake ( a thread on the other forum )

Look to me like timesheets...

Those look to be most likely bot sheets. Not multiple people log sheets. It shows the times at which he would log in to check progress. The parts that look like people's initials are the cards he drafted player names/initials.

I also have to say that guy keeps some seriously meticulous spreadsheets. Looks like the kind of person who's good ad script coding.
