Sure it's been posted somewhere (that I can't find).. But LOVE the fact they changed Jordan out of that ugly eyesore of a Wizards jersey and that I didn't feed him away prior lol. As a Bulls fan, my stomach turns every time I see him in that Wizards crap. All I think of is his botched fastbreak allstar dunk and Kwame Brown when I see it lol.

Yeah same here, not getting anything great. I've always wondered if it's a kind of 'global' pool of cards that are generated that all players pull from?

They might have a cron job of sorts that simply restocks the pool at various intervals and deals them out first come first serve based on when you hit your reset (as well as a little bit of RNG).

Sorry for busting your chops, SmartForce. I have been following your quest for a follow up to that open letter you penned to CatDaddy and NWGamedad. When you had, yet again, asked for a good faith response, I figured you were really annoying the crap out of NWGamedad. When he finally gave up on the "you are invisible" approach, his response was a pretty classic shutdown. He basically labeled you a troll, and it was kind of funny. But when he uped the ante in the next post with the whole Smartmove (sp?), I nearly peed my pants.

For better or worse, you have had a good, strong presence on these boards the last several weeks. In other words, we all know who the freak SmartForce is! When he "accidentally" spelled your name wrong, then never acknowledged you again, it was like he was hitting the perfect buttons to piss you off. Brutal, but I wouldn't take it personally.

Having said all that, I apologize again for being an a$$hole. Contributors like you that speak their mind add a great dialog to the community of this game. Please keep up the good work!

This made me laugh a whole lot. And yeah ... I'm persistent. I wasn't so much angered as I was ... bewildered? at that one post, but you know ... it has to be really hard to be making decisions and trying to put out a good app and please the 2K corporate overlords with enough profits (and the licensing fees are no joke, I'm sure), and then get eviscerated day in and day out in public forums. I empathize completely.

That doesn't mean I won't ask for reasonable constructive changes that are mutually beneficial though.

Also, totally dig the logo you made.

The only thing they could really do is drop the odds of higher tier cards coming up as board clears, and increase the reset card thresholds.

I'm not sure that would have a net positive impact on the bottom line though. I know that quite a lot of folks already feel that it's a pretty long grind to get from reset to reset ... I should think that some would just quit.

I hope that as the system drains with the new lowered top end rewards, the idea that there's a problem with how many cards are entering the system will dissipate.

The cards will stay in circulation as long as they aren't sold. People will continue to list them every 12 hours, despite them not selling. If they would drop the mins, the cards would sell and the backlog of cards would decrease. No matter how much they tighten up rewards/drops/etc, it won't change anything while there are a million cards in circulation that can't be sold.

It doesn't sound good. In fact, it sounds pretty awful. I'm also surprised no one else flinched at that comment.

As I said, I see bad days coming. If they really change the odds on it, I will quit immediately.
I love grinding, even with the fact that most of the time you see the same cards again and again. Playing thousands of games just to get one star and the rest of it is not worth the training fodder, and I can live with it. But if they screw this one? I will buy commons with all my credits from the market and train all my cards into one common :P

Haha. As painful as it was, I had to sell LeBron and Shaq. Needed to build up my credit bank. Klay V2 and Anthony Davis may be next. I figure I have 7 Star Pros and 5 Leg Pros... should be enough to make Playoff seasons, and when Playoff Cards come, I envision even the worthiest of Star Cards will be devalued with the addition of a higher auctionable tier. Plus, for the first time in weeks I haven't had at least 6000 credits... this happened:

I disagree...there are other ways for supply to go down. People are starting to train away their World B Free's, Williams, etc...you don't see too many people offering them under any of the 100 AH threads we have here. At some point you have to cut your losses.

I was one of the biggest proponents of a lower minimum AH, but I think the first five months of this app killed any chance of that. I think he's acknowledged that was a problem, but the fix will only hurt the game.

Was reading through some of the posts from late last night. Man, some people wrote a damn thesis to NWGameDad. I'm sure he's tired of hearing us berate the season rewards and AH tax. We just have to live with it unfortunately. The one thing I wish they'd remove is the listing fee. eBay did away with theirs, so why should we get taxed on here for listing something?

I have a feeling they are going to make it much more difficult to get a playoff card than you expect. They could:

1) Make Playoff packs have a larger chance of pulling a Star than a Playoff;
2) Make Playoff cards be rewards for only 1st place in a Playoff Season;
3) Make Playoff cards have an extremely high minimum on AH, or even worse, unable to be auctioned.
4) Make them less (or not) attainable in RC/RttC.

We'll see...

At first it was just people complaining about resets
Then people start to talk about real life basketball and debate if james harden is sh*t or nah
Then someone decided to change the topic to tv shows... Bonding? We ain't dating here...
Now everyone starts to write long a** messages and fill up the screen...

Let's go back to complaining about resets please...
