Thing is the only posts Egbert makes are his hardcore stat sheets and him defending himself. It's like he doesn't ever actually chat with us here while Joe is a very active member so we all trust and like him more. No bash on Egbert since he is probably doing the same thing Joe is on some other forum, but the reasoning makes sense.

Is it Picking up towards the end like last time or were there more people like me who said "screw it" when they realized the Bucks were going to lose. I keep hearing people saying it's slow. Wanna know if that's true or not.

There's a wide gulf between a guy letting his kids play around with a game on his phone or tablet and an organized group of teams playing accounts around the clock (probably paid labor, possibly botted). Look at the top of the leaderboards and see all the Yao Ming portraits there.

Those "teams" dominate most of the best reward tier for the RC events, and so your comparison is apples to oranges a bit.

I mean, I could say that Joe doesn't derive any competitive benefit from letting his kids play, but having a couple pro stars is obviously the same as having every Pro RC, all the star supports they gave out before, and Pro Hakeem and Pro Kobe, right?

My point was not that kids aren't different from bots and or teams.

I haven't played a serious RC in a long time. Not sure if this is a good or bad thing, but while I was playing a bit while watching Game of Thrones, I wound up drafting a Leg Antwan Jamison. I ended up going from rank 36,000 to about 5,900 in three hours. I know it's a mere 1,500 points -- nothing compared to the 8,000 I used to rack up on a normal basis -- but I hope it's enough for me to stay above rank 8,000. Going out in a bit and I don't want to be grinding then.

It's picking up a little because everyone wants to make sure they are in the spot they want but it's nothing like last week. Last week I was dropping spots every 5 minutes playing +5 games.

All though i disagree with it all. Idc if people bot or have others play for them or w/e, I think these are 2 different scenarios.

I think the uproar against Egbert & his "team" is because it effects the RC. I assume people feel they would have a better chance at the top rewards if botters weren't pushing the point totals so high, where as far as I've seen joe's only goal is the ladder rewards.

So you're telling me (to use joe as an example, nothing meant by it) if joe trained his kids to actually play to win, and then had them play round the clock and secure a top 5 position (or now, top 25), people would then have a problem with it? Would similar accusations of botting start to surface? Would we start demanding pictures of proof?

I obviously can't know this alternate reality. Maybe... but I tend to think not.

But anyway, I'm not particularly interested in going down this road again. I am actually with you in that I couldn't care less who bots and who doesn't because there's no way to know unless they get banned, and even then, it's not like CD will publicise the reason for it, so we're still groping with assumptions.

U didn't need to buy the big one. I never score this high either. I hs all the way too. I'm just going to play +5 games it took more than an hour to catch up to u. There more than 1500 pts behind us so were good. Its better to be safe though. Hopefully u can finish those hs

But they don't win much or play RC. I barely get in the 100s. And that's grinding almost 8 hours a day without HS since I have no money for that.
