Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Brad said he was digging into my suggestion thread about the RttC event. If you guys have any thoughts or ideas, now would be the time to go share them. (I just added an idea that someone PMd to me, with some additional details I came up with as I thought about it).
If you agree with the premise of what I've said there, let them know that. The more sure CD is that the main suggestion would make them more revenue, the more likely they are to consider doing the work to implement it, and the newest idea I just posted would be really satisfying for players of all deck strengths.
Could you link me to it? It's hard to find threads I haven't contributed to on tapatalk.

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Consider the situation though. Let's say you can get the Star Durant, but you can't get the PnP LeBron. You get to choose to exit out and try for a star dupe.
On the AH, Durant would run you 5-6k minimum. 5,000 credits is 250 game nights ... so that's 250 points if you're losing every game, 500 points at +2 (and the +2 games result in 8 draft picks per which is awesome too), 2500 points at +5 ... basically it would be a cheaper way to pro the card at any level below the HoF/PnP.
For the HoF/PnP card, I would expect them to balance it so that it would cost $75 or more in game nights to get the card. Considering that the only other ways to dupe an RttC reward are to place in the top-25 in the following RC event (nearly impossible with the "teams" taking most of those spots) or to keep buying packs until you get lucky (for something like 98.5% of people, this would cost more than 10,000 credits).
I'm pretty sure most of us who have the time and a strong enough deck to get the final card would be pretty happy to pay a reasonable amount to Pro the card. Paying money to know I will make a pro and improve my deck is far more appealing than trying to gamble my way to it at 10,000 credits a pop.
I'm not one of the "whales" though. I have spent hundreds on the game, but I wouldn't ever gamble on 1 in 65 chance packs to pro a HoF RttC reward, or whatever the odds are for PnP and will be for Playoff tier. I'm pretty sure that I would definitely spend $100 to $200 on game nights to reliably pro the final reward though.
And obviously they can adjust it so that the extra game nights needed along the spectrum will be equal to or maybe 1.5-2x the cost of buying an appropriate level pack.
My guess is they would think it through pretty thoroughly and balance it so that it would be attractive to the players (and we would get enjoy a better reward from the event), and also a good extra revenue generator for them.QG Tier: Legendary++

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
something has to be done about the season rewards...
I've only energized once since my playoffs started, and that was before the first game of the 1st round (just enough to win the first round, then tank QF)...check back in to see how I'm doing, and I'm up 2-0 in the QF's [emoji19]
turns out the guy I'm playing in the QF's (who has a better LU than me) is out-tanking me...so I had to switch in all my epic pros I had on my bench, and moved everybody out of position...just to ensure that I lose the serious.
yet another example of how the reward structure is broken. *sigh*Comment

I think many of the people on this forum can account for the "top 10%" of decks, so many of us are in Star seasons. However, the vast majority of players could very well be in lower tiers and so for those subsequent tiers, players may not be tanking.
I'm curious how CD's data analysis is broken down though...if they took their aggregate data and conducted an analysis of ALL tiers, then of course yes, the majority are NOT tanking. However, I'm curious if they segmented for only those in STAR seasons and see if those statistics line up with "the majority is not tanking".
I don't think CD does, so their data analysis logic is flawed. If they do segment it and they find that the majority is not tanking, then I stand corrected (although it's difficult to believe).Comment
