Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I didn't mean to offend any OKC fans. I just don't see the upside of scapegoating a successful coach after an injury plagued season. There's a ton of competition in the West which is just bad luck for a team with OKC's roster and potential.
I mean ... an all time dynasty team like the Spurs. Other young teams with great players. They've got to somehow make it out of a completely stacked deck on the West, and then when they did make it to the Finals, they had the misfortune of running into the "big 3" heat.
I'm not sure Books deserves all the blame, and I don't see anyone obviously better who is both available and willing. So far the rumoured targeted coaches have been saying "no thanks" publicly.
I mean ... I guess if Presti is as good as some of the OKC fans here suggest, then they got someone they think is better to commit before they fired Brooks, and we should see a hire announcement pretty quickly, yeah?
I like Durant a lot, and while I despise the ownership for stealing the Sonics, that's not the fault of anyone who lives in OKC or likes the team. They've been fun to watch and I'd love to see them win it all.QG Tier: Legendary++

Salary cap is a challenge every team in the NBA faces, not just the Thunder. Presti basically built this team from scratch with no major free agent signings, the team was built through drafting, scouting, and some minor trades.
I'm sure the front office has some names in mind (Kevin Ollie, Billy Donovan), but they're looking for a coach who understands the nuances of the game and someone who's able to dive in the small details of the game.Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
This depends on the situation. Don't know if you watch hockey but look at the Bruins situation. Same coach and GM for 9 years. 1 championship and another finals run. So it's kind of similar to Brooks and the OKC GM. Chiarelli the GM has already been fired and people are also calling for Claude Julien (coach) to be fire (including me). Yes the team barely missed the playoffs this season and injuries definitely hurt their chances. But there is more to it than just injuries. Like in the Bruins situation the GM couldn't draft well except when he top picks also couldn't manage the cap. And the coach should be fired because he relieved too much on players he shouldn't have. So yes the organizations should take injuries out but that should not be the reason why a coach should keep his job when the team doesn't perform.Comment

Okay, ran some math. If you buy eight trained rare cards at 100 credits each. Then train a star card most of the way with them, then sell the star card for 5000 minus tax, all in all you will profit by 2700 credits. If you do the same with three UR cards at 400 each your profits fall to 2300 credits.Comment

Man you guys are gonna love playoff tier if it's anywhere near as painful as wrestlemania tier in supercard. I'm in WM+ and the reset amounts are just insane...like 350-400 boards. It is absolutely brutal. Kclutch can confirm this as well lolComment

How are seasons handled? Is the equiv of star season winner rewards bumped up to PO/WM card? Do you just have to make it to the quarters to get PO tier card?Comment
