I would be disappointed if they skipped the RttC, but the way they have things set up, the top RttC reward is given to the top-25 of the following RC. If we get a non-Playoff tier RttC, that locks them into a non-Playoff tier Rival's Clash next week, or changing their timing.

The timing of having the RttC first is quite clever, because if you watch the top 25 for the first 36 hours, there are generally 35-40 people going for 25 spots, all spending credits on hot streaks. If the RC came first, then the people who won't benefit from the final reward in any way aren't likely to pay for game nights or hot streaks to get it (especially if, as I expect, we see a Playoff card added where the current top card is, and then another card added, but no change in the amount of game nights or point scaling ... meaning that last card is going to require going sleepless or buying hot streaks or game nights).

This would be a joke - really. And I wouldn´t be very happy about it, to be honest.

Would you rather have a non-playoff RttC and then a non-playoff losing teams recycled RC again next week? I think that would be the alternative to having no RttC. I'm fairly sure they are sweating right now and trying to decide what to do if the approval doesn't come through tomorrow.

The fact that its not coming out at the time it should and an announcement is replacing it, means 1 of 2 things, its either cancelled or its moved.

Yep, but that is not our fault, it is pretty obvious that the approval process @Apple takes way longer than the one @Google.
So if you want to make sure that a certain update is ready, you need to release it early enough and if not you need a Plan B.

Cancel a whole even, wouldn't be a plan in my eyes. This would be just another proof what I think about them

well 12noon PDT is 5am Australian time which means RTTC would start in 12/13 from the announcement, So they either will announce RTTC using a HoF or Pnp or an RTTC using the new Playoff card

RTTC have always started at 12 AM Friday Pacific Time. It didn't get delayed or anything. The only thing that got delayed was the Announcement of what team is gonna be featured and the Pre-Game screen. Last RTTC the 2012 Heat was announced Tuesday Afternoon Pacific Time and Pre-Game was up Wednesday Noon Pacific Time. They're holding it out till tomorrow Noon Pacific time in hopes that Apple will approve the update in the morning pacific time and they can push the button to release it.

As I said in my last post - it is obvious that the Apple approval process takes longer. This is known since years - plus there was a big release (Apple Watch) and this was also know.

So if you want to make sure that it fits into your timetable, make sure that it is ready. If not, then you need a Plan B.

And to be honest, they could do a playoff RC without any issues. There wouldn´t be a big difference (beside Top 25).

Well, think about it from the player perspective. I think having another recycled RC will be way more outcry than skipping an RttC, since the RC allows players with lower tier decks to get a higher tier card.

RC allowed me to go from UR++ to Legendary in the space of a single RC, and by the time the next one came around I was in Leg++ and it helped me get up into Star. For a motivated player, the RC is a game changer.

The RttC is a brick wall once you get to your deck's limit. After that you can lose 1 point at a time to another card or two, but people with SR/UR RttC decks are hard pressed to get even a Star card.

I hope they run it either way and figure out some way to handle the rewarding of the following RC's top-25 appropriately if approval isn't done tomorrow.

Agreed. I intentionally drag out the RttC for as long as I can just for that. It's not all that much longer than a normal game and restarting the app is no biggie to stash picks.

Nothing is quite so "Christmas morning" as opening 10,000 credits worth of draft picks (according to the 50 credits per valuation that CD assigns to draft picks) all at once.

Looking for a 3-slot star Rodman. Preferably trained but I'll take an untrained. Trying to get my lineup "finished" for the patch.

Damn if only you didn't care about the slots...I have a 2 slot fully trained listed right now

I could take a 2 slot one and just live with 2 slots. I'm short on credits while I'm training up another pile of UR/Epics to sell. Already about 200ish credits short for the deal I made with Lakerking. I might snag a small credit pack just to complete that deal quickly and not leave him hanging.

I've got plenty of trained stars but I've hit a drought selling those, so back to the steady but small income from UR/Epic fodder.

SF I know URs sell but are fully trained epics selling on the auction house as fodder at min bid and bin? How many times do you have to relist? I am struggling tell my last couple of epics

Depending on the Epics, but usually they do.
