Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Nah, no worries man. I absolutely agree with you. Yes, Harden DOES do more for his team (flopping or not flopping) because he has to shoulder the load on offense. I think we're all in agreement there.
I also agree, Curry has not HAD to do much in the 4th quarter this year as much as Harden does. However, in the times that he has had to come up in the 4th quarter (see Game 3 against NO as an example), Curry has stepped up when called upon. Curry easily can dominate ball games like Harden does, but he hasn't because he wants to play within Kerr's system. Just because Curry hasn't had to doesn't mean he can't. That's all I'm trying to say. =)IGN: Doug0806

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Not sure if you've seen a lot of Warrior games this year, but his defense has gotten a lot better than last year. And I don't think steals per game is a good indicator of playing defense. I'm not saying Curry is like Kahwi, but I can damn well say he's a better defender than the beard.Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Yeah of course. I'm with you on that. If curry had to shoulder the load on offense i would put money that he could do it. And if curry needs to step up I know that he is capable. But my point is when discussing MVP saying that curry is capable of doing what james harden does or that if he was on a lesser team he'd stand out just as much as harden. Even though i agree with that point 100%...it isn't a valid argument. The person who is actually doing it should win mvpComment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
I never argued anything about the significance he has on his team. Just don't agree with him being MVP because
1) Harden4MVP said "The MVP is suppose to be the player that does the most for his team." If that were true, I was just trying to say that Kobe should have won it those few years when Nash won it. But that is not how the committee sees it.
2) I don't like floppers, period. I know Harden isn't the only player who flops in the NBA (Manu, Griffin, etc...) but Harden does it so consistently it gets old.
3) Harden's not a 2 way player...can't play defense if his life depended on it.
Harden should win an Oscar award before winning MVP...
And I'm not saying he ISN'T a good player...that was never in dispute. And sorry Harden4MVP for getting it into you, normally I'm not one to get into arguments etc. on the forums here (and I think people know that), but I absolutely just...hate flopping lol. I know it's a widespread issue in the league today, but just because it exists doesn't mean you have to use that tactic.Comment

Yeah I do have immense respect for him. Got surgery on his face and dropped a triple double next game. Very beastly. Could be described as savage.Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Well guys maybe Harden will win the Players MVP award. He seemed to be the favorite among them, its really only the media who has been trying to give Curry the MVP since like Christmas.IGN: Wade County/Heat Wave

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
According to the numbers, Curry positively impacts the Warriors' defensive efficiency more than any of his backcourt teammates -- yes, even Klay Thompson, who drew the tougher assignments under Mark Jackson -- and ranks second among all guards in the league at opponents' field goal percentage.Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Oh I won't argue with that, I'm not a fan of jumping into people to get free throws. It's a cheap tactic. Seems like most guards do that nowadays...even Steph on some of the funky 3 point attempts he takes. I think Jamal Crawford is the king of that though lolComment

And yes Jamal Crawford is one of the top in drawing all kinds of fouls. Yet he can also make it And-1 or a 4-point play, AND he got good handles. I enjoy watching him play.IGN: XyphnR (myNBA 2K15)
