Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Well, they rate almost universally lower in terms of overall statistics. Since the Greats are better balance, their defense is typically higher; however, MVP pro cards are skewed toward offense, which means you'll lose almost any offense versus defense quarter. Add to that that the rest of the stats are comparable, and they don't end up matching up that well.
It seems to me that the Greats singles are essentially MVP pros with better balanced D and O ratings. However, since MVP pros have such high O ratings that the enhanced D ratings of the Greats don't counter it, if they get an O quarter, they'll win almost every time because the rest of the stats (across same positions) remain roughly similar.
At the very least, that's how it seems to play out to me. I'm losing more games to MVP pros with my greats than I'm winning, and got thoroughly pounded in season on greats versus MVP pro matchups.Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Do not buy Star/PO Packs ever, there is no use, even if you do pull a PO, most are gonna drop down to min which will equal 6,250 after tax, you'll lose money on 90% of the PO cards that you have a 10% chance of pulling anyways, how do you like those odds, there's probably only 2-3 PO cards that would net you profit if you did pull
so if you're looking to take a chance on a pack and happen to land a PO, the smartest thing to do is take advantage of the AH inflated prices before they go for min like 90% of everything else.Comment

Anyone recognize these names?Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
The highest rated greats single on the spreadsheet is Magic, his O and D are 333x which loses soundly to his own MVP pro card (he only beats his own card in PM and A, and the diff is 10, 4 points).
Larry Bird Greats loses to his MVP self in every category but D and PM. However, his D and PM aren't high enough to be competitive with many MVP pro.
I don't actually mind it all that much; you have to play your cards more wisely, but I think overall Greats are just a slight notch under MVP pros and will lose more in the long run.Last edited by CedricFP; 05-10-2015, 09:14 PM.Comment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
OhkamiL's logic is very true, but calculation is a bit off. the return of a PO single for min BIN is 6300 and min BID is a astonishingly low 5250. That's not including the 20 listing fee.
so if you're looking to take a chance on a pack and happen to land a PO, the smartest thing to do is take advantage of the AH inflated prices before they go for min like 90% of everything else.
Yea I forgot to mention when I meant min I was talking about BIN cause PO cards go for a bit above min bid right now, in a few weeks when the market crashed and PO cards start timing out and going for min your return would be significantly worse
