First PO season and I'm ranked 10th right now. Dropping back down to Star seasons with my 11 Star Pros...PO seasons are just ridiculous

Could be worse.

There are 9 players in my season. Four of us have 4 PO Pros. Another has 2 POTG Pros, 1 PO Pro and 3 POTGs. So a guy with at least 4 PO Pros may not even make it to the semifinals...

Yeah could be worse but when it happens every time 4 seasons in a row..

And this is exactly the reason why I don't play PO seasons - the rewards are not worth it. I don´t waste 4 days when I need to hope that the matchmaking is not fooling me (which will be always the case, cause we know CD).
But I forgot, they wanted to avoid that PO players drop down to Star - for me this is not working

Dear friends,

As you all know stocking game coin is really hard and I am thinking 3 times before spending the coins I collected.
I need an advice about an upgrade. I am trying to decide how to spend my coins.
After a serious effort I managed to stock 8k game coin.
I am Star tier and My QG and RC roster is as follows:
PG: leg pro Billups SG:leg pro westbrook SF:leg pro lebron clevaland PF:leg pro dirk C:epic pro Payton or epic pro gasol
Apart from Payton I have another Star who is Manning from the last RC
I think Center is the first position I need to upgrade.

I am grinding like crazy since last week, but could not get a second Star drop yet after Payton, collected 2.5k points in the last RC and did not get a signle leg or star drop.
I can spend 7.5 – 8k and get a PO Center like deandre, blake or brook lopez from AH to upgrade my center position.
Or I can work out a deal and get 2 Star center with BB. Every one is selling Stars with 2.5 3k bb so it is easy to pull a deal.

Which option you would prefer, getting 2 Star and going for star pro or pulling a PO from AH to fulfill the Center spot need.

Kindly advise and share your opinions.

regarding PO Seasons... sometimes it is luck... both good and bad. and, especially in PO seasons, seeding and energizing frequently helps alot.

my last PO season, i was with at least 4 other humans, with me having minimum requirements (12 SPros, 1 PO). i ended up 6 seed when playoffs started. got all the way to the semi finals (i beat higher seeded humans by energizing after every game, where others were just using game manager), where i faced the 2 seed. got all the way to game 7... and lost by 1 point!!! it really could have gone either way, with both me and my opponent boosting each game. when i looked at the lineup of the 1 seed, i realized i should have tried to be in his bracket, as it looked like he had a weaker lineup than the 2 seed that had just beat me.

for now, i am keeping my HOF rewards untrained until i get a dupe. highly unlikely, but thats ok. id still rather be in PO tier, since there is always a chance to get that PO card.

Well I don't see a reason to drop since I don't need any stars )

I take the 1000 credits and the chance of cheap A.Davis dupe MVP and Hofs would be only training fodder

Imho - wait till rttc, see what PO card will be there, buy another PO that has a different position, grind for star and PO card, you will be able to dupe it later for cheap. Then - spend a month grinding for PO reward in the next RTTC and RC events, dupe the stars with buybacks, get to PO tier using the rewards, get your freebe - you should be OK by that time.

I'm soo tired with the way how your opponents in seasons are leveled.. With 1 great, 1 MVP pro and the rest of stars pro I got seasons in a row with 3-4 humans with multiple PO pros.. once I got couple PO pros for myself - I have guys with several greats pros T_T I don't know how do you manage to get into PO seasons finals, it will be another useless HOF or MVP for me in 4th time in a row...

Unfortunately, the bare minimum to get to finals is 3-4 PO pros with several MVP/HOF pros.
But you can get lucky on the matchup, or other circumstances (opponent fell asleep, not energizing, etc).
The only best thing to do if you don't have premium deck is to always energize everyone and boost during the playoff.

It depends on what is your aim in the game.
For example, my aim is not to get the best players in game but to get a team with all the players i like, so i don't care about a lot of playoff cards.
If you play the game like most of the users do, I'd say that a playoff card has way more potential, cause in the future you could get a dupe.
If you decide for a star dupe, try at least to get a MVP, it could be helpful and maybe more sellable if you decide to sell it in the future.
