I see. If someone here can make a thread like "Beginner's Guide" and the thread becomes sticky (like "FAQ" / "MyNBA2K15 - FAQ"), where the first post covers the terminology, common questions, all that -- that may be a good start.

SmartForce would be the right person to do it, but it needs to be concise similar to FAQ kinda list to be reader-friendly.

There is a guide that eZvisions started. I'm sure there are other questions newer members ask, but this is a good start. Like you said, just need someone to maintain it.

I'm with you, while it's great to have new members join, answering the same questions over and over in this thread is a tad repetitive when you can easily find the answers looking back at the 16442 pages... =P

Yep agree with the whole slot thing. I don't even bother trying to sell anything that's not a 3 slot most of the time as they just rarely sell. I'm usually not bothered about slots but if for example I've drafted a 1 slot player then I would most likely want a 3 slot one to pro him.

I'll never understand the obsession with slots either. I don't really care if a card has 1 slot or 3. As long as I get the player I want, it doesn't matter to me. I don't think the ur enhancements make a huge difference anyway...maybe the epic ones but only a small percentage of cards have those anyway. Then again, I don't take this game as seriously as some people I guess. I play it to have fun and get my favorite players, regardless of whether they are the best or can win me 99% of the games.

They matter to some players, to me I don't care how many slots my Pro card has if I draft or win both of my cards for that dupe(hence why I had a lot of 2 slot Star Pros). But if I'm gonna spend credits to dupe one of my cards especially if its a player I really really like like I'd want a 3 slot one as much as possible.

One thing that boggles my mind though is how Support market is on life support. Support cards rarely sell, I still play people here on PO++ and PO seasons with a UR and/or Epic supports.

Just wanted to add this to what you've said. Once the market gets over saturated, since slots have no baring on min, if your going to spend credits there would be no point in buying anything less than a maxed level 3 slot.

Looking for myth-busters...

Does anyone believe that:

A) The lower right corner offers the fewest board resets

B) Games played on the stadium court are "easier" than games played in the
practice gym (is evening tougher than day)

Won a one slot DeAndre Jordan PO card from the RC last fortnight. Awesome, I thought...

24 hours later, bit the bullet and purchased a 3 slot 50/50 dupe off the AH.. Felt bad about it for some reason, since coins are hard for me to get, and I said as much here..

6 hours later got my first ever playoff reset.. Another 1 slot DeAndre, giving me three! After three attempts I managed to sell him for 7500

12 days later brings us to today. I finished my first ever playoff season, made it to the finals and was begging for Kobe for a potential dupe.. Who did I get? A 3 slot DeAndre, who is not even selling for minimum anymore it looks. So that is FOUR I have had now, with no other PO cards besides Kidd and Rose from the RTTC (I sold my freebie, LaMarcus Aldridge).

I am currently 400 boards into my second reset after getting Jordan 12 days ago.. Starting to prepare myself for the possibility of getting a fifth to add to the collection!

Got a 1 slot PO Thomas for my season reward, put him up on the AH, Played for a couple of hours 60 resets I pull a 3 slot PO Thomas and about 5mins later my PO Thomas on the AH sells for 9k! haha

I sold a 2s PO DeAndre Jordan yesterday for min. You just gotta hit the right times, aka when most of North America is awake (pre or post work/school).

I'm sure it will sell eventually.. Just frustrating getting four of the same guy in succession while having drafted no others (freebie excluded).. Keep on grinding and praying for a Kobe like the guy above!
