PO Howard has higher stats, but only by 6 points (34989 vs 34983). I'd take Curry over Howard though, since Curry's more focused stat distribution is something I like (7539 6761 6570 7180 6933). I really dislike cards that have a spread out distribution, IMO a "jack of all trades- master of none" card is not as strong (Howards stats- 6976 7067 7205 6670 7071).

Stats listed are in order of OFF DEF REB PM ATH.

Completely different players. Howard has slightly higher total stats. Curry has great OFF and decent PM. Howard only has a decent REB.

More limited credits/money in CD coffers and less for people depending on money from the auction house is the way I see it.

i got 4 packs from CD, always had the lower tier and 1 of the worst cards possible. can't even sell that leg.S. Kerr. NEVER AGAIN but good try CD

Anyone actually knows the aproximate drop rate for a PO? Anyone that bought multiple packs? 1 in every 4 or 5 etc etc?
Would be really interesting to know more.


I also dont understand why CD has such low drop rates for these packs. It would be much smarter for them to make a PO reset much tougher at say 500 boards, but offer 1 PO every 2 packs.
That way more people would be tempted to buy packs, thus actually buying credits and earning CD more money.

If these packs actually had good drop rates of 1 for 2 or 1 for 3, i would actually really consider buying credits at those insane prices

Yeah... that's how you quickly lose any semblance of a player base.

It depends. If CD actually will start to clean up the prices in the AH, where stars and legs would actually retain value again.
If they would also add the feature like mentioned a few pages back that you could sell back any card (SR und up) to the game for say 10-15% of min bid, that would help as well.


I would also suggest that in addition to pulling 1 card for a loss and 2 for a win in quick games, they could add 1 credit for a loss and 2 credits for a win in QG.
It would give a real boost to QC and RC games, and would also give lower tier players a chance to earn credits. Its really tough for players in legendary/epic and lower tiers to earn credits through the AH or seasons.

I refuse to buy packs simply for the fact that it takes credits out of the AH economy and puts them back in CDs pockets. I've been tempted to buy "greats" packs but I talk myself out of it.

i bet that they will release another PO pack like FinalsMVPS in the next weeks and take them as last card for rttc. The same thing they did with PnP packs and HOF. and all the guys that bought POTG packs will be screwed unless they duped a lot already.

You may (well you probably are) be right. But Maybe those card won't be better than POTG but will have the same stats.

jeah like hof and PNP i think they are on the same level statswise. Looking at the POTG cards they are not so many where they can make a good rttc.

many people buy POTGs because they hope their card will be featured in a futre RTTC, same was with hof until they got screwed and they chose Kobe,Lebron and Pierce(all PNP cards)
