Can someone cheer me up with something motivational? I really sucked at my basketball tryouts after amazing the coach and now I might not make the team. I know it's off topic but you guys are the closest thing to friends I have.

Michael Jordan was cut from the basketball team in high school

And hey, even if you got cut, don't worry, just keep working hard im sure you'll make it next year

Everyone has an off-day. Your coach has experience, he knows that. Dont worry. Everything will turn out OK, you 'll see.

Thank you, Apos! That main thing was 3-point shooting. (I went from shooting 39% to 26%. Not so good. Hopefully I can do better tomorrow! (Thats when the coach will make up the final roster. He said I will have to shoot at least 35% next time to make it. Wish me luck tomorrow, lol!)

A few days ago I saw 2 J-Walls with bids (they were both fully trained and not 3 slots. Also, no buy back deals)

Steph Curry, who is probably the greatest shooter of all time, went from a 45% on regular season, to a 27% in the playoffs!

Coaches dont mind the percentages. The first thing they look for is your "shot mechanics" and how hard you work to get that open shot.

Relax, and do your thing!

Man if you could shoot 40% , no reason you can't make 35 tmrw. I mean look at curry 3S records in season and playoff. Theb he had 1 off game and and had tge highest number of 3S missed in a NBA final game... Then he stepped up and Warriors are champions...

You just are Curry and will step up tmrw!

Yeah but he's proven, lol.

He wants good 3-point shooters on his roster because big ball wasn't working for him last year. My form is a bit unique, lol (I shoot with my thumbs, lol but I got my follow through and structure of the arms from Kobe, Ray Allen and Steph) but he did say, and I quote, "Your shot is leathal when you get going", so that's always good to hear.
