For my whole time in star tier, I did not draft one legendary card. Is this a common thing for anyone else or just a weird occurrence?

Case by case.. A lot of people (myself included) usually draft a bunch of them their 1st reset & then get 1 or 2 in their next 2-3 resets combined..

i posted this in RTTC discussion, but that thread hardly gets looked at... so need some advice...

I am trying to figure out if I can make a realistic run all the way thru RTTC this time. willing to spend my credits to make it (sitting on 4k) right now.

want to know when I can't go +14 anymore, then +10, then +4. Not realistic to lose 420 times (unless on last card)

last time I was able to get +5 (+10 , because I HS) on Elgin Baylor about 90% of the time. Didn't go further because didn't seem realistic with the lineup to go all the way.
Had 4 PO Pros (trained level 40s, around 5000 each stat) in one row
And then 2 other rows full of either fully trained Star Pros or single POs

this round I will have (all fully trained unless noted)
5 PO Pros
1 single Great
6 Star Pros
4 single POs
4 Legendary Pros
5 single Stars
1 untrained single PO
the rest will fill with untrained Stars or Legends with team supports

The last few cards require you to have 10 or more PO Pro's for +5/+10, so unless you're willing to spend a ton of credits on HS/Game nights for +2/+4, I don't think it's realistic. You're really battling against time here....

Realistically, you probably have a shot at 6-7 of the cards.

Well that's really odd then. I had 3 star resets in total, with my first reset 2 weeks after my freebie and then two weeks later drafting KD and Klay in the space of two days. In this time, I did not draft a single legendary card, I just pulled a large amount of epics. Hopefully my luck changes now I'm in PO tier.

I'm still in Star tier, played a couple hundred games without a reset. My only Legendary so far has been Walt Bellamy, I'm guessing it's different for everyone.

that is good to know. I can probably get that many Pros in a few weeks with a little bit of luck then (Hopefully by the next RTTC). So might focus on getting the first great (HS but not spend on GN). Saving some credits so can do trades hopefully to fill out the roster of 10 PO Pros.

Common bench only affects the bots' level. It does nothing for the level of human opponents. It's easier when you have a common bench, coz you "tank" games much easier if you need to, without having to worry that an unernergized bot will still lose to you.

Thanks anyway to avoid getting matched up with opponents with lots of great pros ?

Common bench only affects the bots' level. It does nothing for the level of human opponents. It's easier when you have a common bench, coz you "tank" games much easier if you need to, without having to worry that an unernergized bot will still lose to you.

It's frowned upon, but common bench also used to drop down into star tier seasons.

You appear to be like roughly 1 week ahead of me. I'm at 4 PO Pros right now. About 7 Single POs, 2 Star Pros, and few Stars. I might have to +4 my way through the first Great this time. Do I have a chance?

Just wanted to tell SOMEONE. I have 10 PO cards and 0 are SF. Been hoping one of these events has a good SF or I was gonna buy one. I grinded RC in PO tier the entire time and got no reset. JUST GOT THIS AS MY FIRST PO RESET! I know it's not a great card, but I am very happy.

I feel your pain. I was just looking over my top 25 for RTTC and realized that I am going to have 1 Epic Pro and 1 Epic non Pro SG to start with unless I get some great pulls soon.

Is everyone using epic cards as training fodder now? I have a few that are fully trained that I am holding until we hit RTTC to try to sell and obviously a couple that I still have to keep in my deck but I have about 20 that I haven't been able to bring myself to train with yet.

My weakness is SF too.
That is why I made TRADE for rttc Barnes who will join regular Klay and my first ever GREAT Baylor
