Believe it or not, with my season lining up correctly, I was able to start my season Saturday night... with only 2 other humans (both are STACKED)!! As usual, it'll take luck with seeding and actual matchups, but with 3 humans, I LOVE my chances!

Yes, season matching is pretty much random but there are times definitely NOT to join (I did a similar start season after RC/RttC and finished Top 8 in a legendary season...).

You say he's right, and yet I think I struck a nerve because there's truth in what I said as well about the goal being poorly designed. I'm not going to dignify Afiveshi's post with further response given that anditbeg1ns summarized my intent well enough. I will say that it is somewhere between disappointing and distressing to see that the most "liked" post I've seen in this thread in ages is of one forum member jumping down the throat of another forum member requesting, essentially, that certain topics be taken off the table because big brother (big kitty?) is watching.

Chilling effects are the opposite of what this forum needs.

I understand that "Insane Win Streak" is called such for a reason, and it's true that you could probably get it doing enough +1 or +2 games in RC or RTTC, but that is counter productive to other goals for relatively little RP. What I would like to see is some of the other goals maybe balanced or put in line. Like 500 games rewarding 20k or 25k instead of its current 15k. I'm of the belief, at least from other mobile games, that the more in game currency you give players, the more likely you are eventually going to get them to spend something on the game (granted this game is a little different because of the bifurcated currency system). And a lot of the goals could use an increase in rewards.

Of course, given that CD just upped the requirements to get Star cards both in RC and RTTC, I'm pretty sure they have a different philosophy on what should be reasonably obtainable.

I'll go on record and say that I agree with both of you. Maybe the semantics of the posts were bad in spots but I "like" the part of people saying things that benefit us players which CD caught wind of and then ended. It's been happening since the original game and still happens, so players can get tired of having the few small things that go their way get pushed out the door. Again, might have went too far with verbiage initially but I understand both of your points.

They messed up with the star season rewards. You should be guaranteed a RS or at least an All star for winning the season. Getting a Hall of Fame is a slap in the face, when the runner up could have possibly be given a All Star card which is better.

Don't use them for Leg cards, you can pick dupes up pretty cheaply off AH.

And definitely cheaper than spending 50k on the Wild Card Lottery!

I personally use WC only for the highest tier. I will use a couple with the first reg cards i get, just to get me to the ++ QG tier, to ensure I grind with the best chance of getting a reset. Then I just use WC's for special event cards, or high level season rewards. I use AH to dupe reg cards.

They messed up with the star season rewards. You should be guaranteed a RS or at least an All star for winning the season. Getting a Hall of Fame is a slap in the face, when the runner up could have possibly be given a All Star card which is better.

AS and HOF are the same level. RS is slightly better.

Like everyone said already, Wild Cards for Highest Tier (Star) only. Unless you need to fill up season and RTTC lineup, I would spend the 15-20k on Leg to dupes. You would need 2 and a veteran contract, so 30-40k to create a Leg pro. But instead, 50-60k can get you a Star single with similar stats to a Leg pro and you can pro it in the future. The only downsides are that the Star single will be unauctionable compare to a potential Leg pro if you have a single Auctionable already and the cost is a bit steeper. But in the long run, they can be much more useful even if/when the next tier rolls around.

What happened? You wanna know what I did? I started immediately after RC. I claimed, pro'd, then searched. I have 8 star pros. When I searched 4 of those pros were untrained. I joined a season with a couple CREME and a couple DREAM. 9 people with at least 10 star pros. 15 humans, all tanks. What's the point I ask myself? =)

Moral of the story. Don't start a season soon after RC....ever

lol well it wasn't that bad. I'm at about 10 humans and likely won't get a star card, though, if matchups go bad, so it'll end up being a waste of 4 days.
