I have three similar cards and maxed out each. But I cannot select neither one of them to turn pro. What prevents a card from having pro option?

Your cards must not be used in any competition if you want to max them, so before you max them you must substitute them from season, quick game and blacktop challenge, then you can max them and add them again

I got 3 cards of Thabo Sefolosha, maxed them but they don’t seem to combine to pro. Photo of the player is different however I throught they were the same cards. Aren’t they? Can someone help?

No. One is the Ultra Rare OKC Foil version, one is the Ultra Rare version and one is the Ultra Rare Jazz version. You can't combine different cards, you have to have 2 of the same card (so 2 UR OKC Foil Sefolosha for example)
